Absolutely fantastic food and service !The atmosphere is great and the service amazing ,I'd definitely return and highly recommend 5 stars is not enough !

What has happened to my favourite Indian restaurant? Ray the boss has gone and so it seems have a lot of other things.

The portion sizes are smaller, the menu has shrunk to the basics, the spice has almost disappeared from the curries. I ordered a Jalfrezi tonight which is usually medium hot but this one was just mild and bland. The rice was only half a portion in the tub.

If it was just one of us that felt that things had gone downhill then maybe fair enough but all of 3 of us who ordered were very disappointed to say the least.

I won’t be returning and I’m sad about that as I like supporting local businesses but this Indian has lost its way big time.

Time for a rethink please guys

Just had a meal in Dawat Indian restaurant, what a brilliant meal, the portions are massive ( brought home a doggy bag that'll last me for breakfast dinner and tea).

They really looked after the 4 of us, I really hope that they continue to always have the same atmosphere in the future. You got to try this Indian.

First time to have a takeaway from here and I have to say I was not disappointed.

Portion size was great. Flavours were spot on and all in all a perfect meal. Very friendly staff on collection.

Had a takeaway it was very run of the mill.

Plus points - reasonably priced decent amount and delivered on time ( early actually) .

It was nice and hit but taste wise nothing stood out . Prawn Shaslik probably the best as they were not bad and a good amount. Beef balti was watery and not that much beef. It wasn’t terrible just ordinary and rather forgettable. I won’t go back.

First time to try and will definitley return. Really friendly, swift service and amazing food. Free chutney tray and popadoms were appreciated and the chilli and mint sauces were to die for. Overall it was so nice that I forgot to take a pic and devoured it instantly :).

Tasteless Tikka. Hard and inedible chicken. Curry sauce floating in oil. Avoid if you want good food. Don't believe the reviews, they are for the previous owner of Diplus.
