I’ve had a run of bad luck with barbers since moving back to town in 2014. Some who couldn’t keep their sh!t together and one who had health issues. Finding a new barber sucks. A friend recommended Daryl’s and I gave them a shot. Luck of the draw meant I got a cut from Ash. She did an excellent job. She’s personable and nice but didn’t waste a lot of time. Efficient and quick. So much so that I couldn’t believe the quality when she was done. She’s young so I’m hoping this is the last barber I’ll need for a long time. Five stars. Easy. I recommend her without reservation.
All the barbers here do a great job. It's best if you make an appointment but they'll take you as a walk-in also if you don't mind hanging out till they get an opening. I've never been disappointed going here and worth the wait if your just doing an impromptu haircut without an appointment like I usually end up doing.
The gal who cut my hair was very personable and nice. Very very unhappy with my cut though. I asked for a maintenance cut (take off the dead ends and preserve as much length as possible) same for my beard.
She took off about 2 inches more than Iv had with previous cuts. I don’t think she was familiar with working with beards either she did not adequately straighten my beard out before cutting. So my beard lost much more length than I would have liked as well.
I will not be going back ever. This has set me back about 4 months on my effort to grow my hair.
Called and expressed my issue and they offered to fix it but obviously there is nothing they can do to fix my missing hair.
I’ve been going here off and on for the last 10 years. I love a classic barber shop. Prior to Covid you could just pull up a chair and wait for a seat. These days you’re better off to call a day ahead and make an appointment.
Keep it simple, tip your barber. They do a great job.
My husband took my son here, so they could both get their haircut. The fade was not good, I sent them back to get it fixed. This was AFTER they "fixed" it.
Daryl’s has been around for years and Chad, Daryl’s son has operated the barbershop for the past several years… The barbers are friendly and know their trade, Chad cuts my hair and always does a great job..
It was great that we didn't have to wait long to be seen,but I gladly would've waited for the girl to finish her 2nd redbull to ensure she was awake enough to properly cut my 11yr olds hair and not his neck 4/5times. Won't be going back.
Great folks! Randomly came in as a former great clips customer ....great clips was never open and there employees can be abrasive...felt welcomed the first day and appreciate a great haircut to my specific style!
