Absolutely horrible experience every time I go here. First of all the woman is notoriously rude. Also, their pricing varies depending on how much money they think you can afford to pay apparently. $50 for a basic fill with one repair even though the board says 35 so with a repair should have been 40. Ridiculous. $50 for a gel pedicure when the board clearly says 35. Will never return here. What a scam.
This is the only nail salon in fenton that knows what the shape of an almond is! every time they do a wonderful job at shaping my nail! I’ve tried to venture off and go to different nail salon in the area and I was extremely disappointed with the shape of nail they gave me!
There are 2 staff there. The man is great. I get acrylics with shellac. The woman is rude and does my nails so fast that they peel off within days. She basically grunts at you and acts like you are a complete inconvenience. There are many nail salons in Fenton and this one is not worth going to.
Horrible customer service. The woman needs to go find another job and some happiness cause she's just a angry hateful troll of a lady. It's pretty sad that they treat people the way they do and don't care about the health of their customers. I watched her wash her feet and than without washing hands come sit down and do nails. Everytime I'm in there she's on her phone and takes her sweet time like we have inconvenienced her. When I confronted her about it her response was it's her time. So so rude and gross.
I’ve been here a few times and the workers have always been extremely rude. I went today for a pedicure and when I told them what i was there for the two workers just ignored me. I sat waiting for about 20 minutes and then I asked if I could go to my car and how much longer it would be and they told me it would be about 20 more minutes. Why not tell me it is going to be a 40 minute wait when I first get there so I can maybe come back another time? When the woman was doing my pedicure she was very aggressive and rude the whole time she did my nails. I also asked for squared nails and she rounded them right after... I would not come here again.
Terrible service , I had a pedicure ???? no lotion was used on my feet or legs , no massage on feet. I was the only client in there, she did not speak to me at all. Rude acting. I will never refer anyone nor will I go back there. Price for painting my toe nails 45.oo ridiculous.
This place has one of the worst, most disrespectful, lazy workers i have ever met. Not even deserving of a single star.
I came in for a soak-off and manicure service. I was told i would be charged $10 for a soak off which i was perfectly fine with, i expressed how i do not want my nails ripped off, and that i don’t want further damage. When i sat down for the service, the man doing my nails grabbed a tool and was literally prying them off, not soaking off. It hurt!! I told him, i thought you were soaking off, and he was being dismissing and i told him that it hurt to rip them off and it’s damaging so he got angry, told me to get out and never come back. BECAUSE I DIDNT WANT HIM TO RIP THEM OFF!!!
why would i come and pay $10 for a “soak off” service just for them to be too lazy to actually do it, and get mad when i say something?
Disrespectful, horrible service and experience!!
There’s a place down the road by bangkok peppers with much better service!!!
my first ever experience here was great, I got shellac with a pretty design on all of my fingers for just $45. However, the other couple of times I have tried this place my nails have fallen off but it’s been less than a week. I decided to give it a final try today and the lady completely made up brand new prices that seemed to not apply for my friend, but just for me. she did an awful job on my design and then charged me $55 claiming it was because I got it done on four of my nails, yet when the first time I got design on all of my fingers it was only $45. On top of that, she made three of my cuticles bleed and acted like nothing happened. I have given this place one too many chances and I’ve finally just let myself accept the fact that this place is not worth my money

Quick Facts About D C Nails

DC Nails Place has received mixed reviews from customers, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses of the salon. It is important to analyze these comments to get a comprehensive understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the salon.
Starting with the strengths, one customer mentioned that DC Nails Place is the only salon in Fenton that knows how to shape nails to their desired almond shape. This indicates that the salon has skilled technicians who can accurately shape nails according to customer preferences. This attention to detail and expertise in nail shaping can be a strength for the salon, attracting customers who appreciate well-shaped nails.
Another customer mentioned that the man who works at the salon provides great service for acrylics with shellac. This positive feedback indicates that at least one staff member delivers quality service, especially in terms of applying acrylics with shellac. This demonstrates that the salon has the potential to provide high-quality services to customers.
Moving on to the weaknesses, several customers expressed dissatisfaction with the rude behavior of the woman working at DC Nails Place. Multiple comments highlighted her rudeness, grunting, and acting like an inconvenience to customers. This repeated negative feedback indicates a consistent issue with customer service and professionalism. Rude behavior can significantly impact the customer experience and deter potential customers from visiting the salon.
Pricing inconsistencies were another weakness mentioned by customers. One comment highlighted the salon's tendency to charge more than their advertised prices for services. This discrepancy in pricing, with the customer being charged more than what was displayed on the salon's pricing board, can lead to customer dissatisfaction and a sense of being scammed. Consistency and transparency in pricing are essential for building customer trust and loyalty.
Hygiene and cleanliness concerns were also raised by customers. One comment mentioned observing the technician washing her feet and then proceeding to do nails without washing her hands. This lack of hygiene practices raises concerns about the salon's commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers. Hygiene is of utmost importance in a nail salon, as it directly impacts the health and well-being of customers.
There were also complaints about the speed at which services were provided. One customer mentioned that the woman did their nails so quickly that they peeled off within days. This suggests a lack of attention to detail and quality in the service provided. Customer satisfaction and the longevity of the services provided are crucial for the success of a nail salon. Rushing through services can compromise the quality and durability of the nail treatments.
Inconsistency in service quality and design execution were also highlighted as weaknesses. One customer mentioned that they had a great experience on their first visit but subsequent visits resulted in their nails falling off within a week. Another customer mentioned that the lady did an awful job on their design and charged them a higher price for a service that was cheaper previously. These inconsistencies in service quality and pricing contribute to an overall negative impression of the salon and impact customer trust and satisfaction.
Overall, DC Nails Place has several weaknesses that need to be addressed. The issues with rude behavior, pricing inconsistencies, hygiene concerns, rushed services, and inconsistency in service quality and design execution need improvement. However, the salon's strengths include skilled technicians who can shape nails according to customer preferences and the potential to deliver high-quality services, particularly with acrylics and shellac.
