Called this place after a mishap at another barbershop where the barber let me know that he couldn't cut my hair. (An old white man and I'm Black.)

This place said they had no black barbers but they cut every type of hair so I said ok, can I come and he said yes. Now, I'm not familiar with the area as I'm from NJ and working down here. Won't be able to go home for Xmas so I was looking for a lil cleanup for the holidays. At some point, I might've passed the spot so I called TWICE to ask for a little bit of guidance like maybe which mall sign to look for etc. The a-hole who answered the phone hung up on me BOTH times so I guess I'm not getting that holiday haircut as there seems to be no black barbers in this hood. Is there any way to remove the 1star I gave? They don't deserve it.

Great group of guys. My boi Seth always does Grade A work on my cuts. All of them in there do not miss. Best conversations with any topic you can think of haha. It’s always interesting and a good sit when I’m in there.

Wasn’t happy with my cut at all. Dude was chill but didn’t follow anything I said with what I wanted. Practically took everything off the back of my head when I didn’t Want that at all, and wasn’t able to charge my card right for a tip so it got used twice and my card is locked out now. Hair don’t grow back fast so listen. Wish I got a refund

Drew definitely takes great care of all of his customers, but as his sister, I’m definitely one of his biggest fans. It seems like no one really knows how to give a child a haircut, let alone ones with cowlicks and thin hair, but he’s a master with all hair types. (And ages!) Highly recommend.

Cut N Edge is a very cool black barbershop. The brothers have really good conversations, and everyone is respectful and very efficient. My barber, Deshawn, is a young brother who is up and coming! He is like that you should give Shawn a try I promise you won't regret it! RT

Went to Cut-N-Edge on my first day living in Springfield. Got there 15 minutes before they closed, just wanted a quick cleanup before my first day at my new job Monday. Had been busy moving all day.

Walked in and got told they were done for the day, as they were cutting their friends’ hair.

If you don’t want to have a customer at 5:45, close at 5:30 instead of 6. Unprofessional.

Very unprofessional the owner lies about employees working there so they don’t have to prove their income! Who scams so another man don’t have to pay for his children. I got a whole recording thank god

This place has a great atmosphere and awesome barbers! I am a retired hairstylist so was looking for a place my hubby could get a good cut. We arrived not long after they opened and they were super busy. We waited and was not disappointed! Each barber have some mad skills! Every man that walked out with their fresh cut, looked great!
