Great friendly atmosphere table service, plenty of choice to drink, beer garden at the rear and a nice cosy fire when it's cold outside, what more would you want.

Very enjoyable evening (Sunday). Was quite busy but still plenty of room to sit down. Hosts and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have carried on, from covid, doing table service as that is what the regulars wanted. They are very attentive and so you never have to wait for a drink. There is a very friendly atmosphere and we had a lovely time.

There is a dog who lives here who is sporting considerable floof. Pub's cosy too, with friendly staff.
