Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Interior layout has been improved. One bar only now whichs gives a lot more space for customers. Beer prices are very competitive.
Newly decorated and polite staff. When the smell of fresh paint fades it will be a cozy local for many.
It will be a pub I visit occasionally but that is because its choice of largers is not to my taste.
Fantastic, relaxing and friendly newly decorated bar. Well recommend this pub for a comfortable watering hole.
No food available which is a shame as the Sunday lunches used to be awesome.
Lovely pub, nice atmosphere, good wine. Friendly staff.
Outstanding roast on Easter Sunday with a short notice booking after the Crown had a very busy day with a team member down. To deliver such good food like that is testimony to the chef.
The chef always accommodates my wife's dairy free diet too which is appreciated.
Thank you to Denise and the team, first class.
We had lunch there today as a special occasion for four . The food was very poor . I ordered scampi and chips It was not chips! , but warmed up potato wedges . My friends fish and chips was the same . Poor quality food . Felt for the waiting on staff as they were lovely , but quality poor !
Would leave a zero. Walked in got offered a table. All good..
Then from the kitchen heard f.....g and s....t its not on the f......g menus...... etc etc.
Had my wife and 2 children with me... walked out.
Have eaten there before was very nice. But so unprofessional.
Absolutely disgusted...
Went to weatherspoons instead.

Quick Facts About Crown Hotel

The Crown Hotel has recently undergone improvements, particularly in terms of its interior layout. One of the major changes is the reduction of the number of bars to just one, which has provided more space for customers. This is seen as a strength as it allows for a more comfortable and spacious environment for patrons to enjoy their drinks. In addition, the fact that the beer prices are competitive is another positive aspect for customers.
The newly decorated bar is perceived as fantastic, relaxing, and friendly by some customers. They highly recommend the pub as a comfortable place to spend time and socialize. The polite staff also contribute to the positive atmosphere, making it an enjoyable experience for visitors.
However, one weakness mentioned by a customer is the lack of food available at the pub. They mention that the Sunday lunches used to be awesome but are no longer served. This could be seen as a missed opportunity for the Crown Hotel, as offering food could attract a wider range of customers and enhance the overall experience.
On the other hand, there are comments praising the outstanding roast served on Easter Sunday. This is seen as a testament to the skills of the chef and the ability of the team to deliver high-quality food even under challenging circumstances. The fact that the chef accommodates dietary restrictions, such as a dairy-free diet, is also appreciated by customers.
One customer, however, had a negative experience with the food at the pub. They found the quality to be poor, citing an example of receiving warmed up potato wedges instead of chips. This indicates that there may be inconsistencies in the quality of the food served at the Crown Hotel, which can be interpreted as a weakness.
Another negative comment highlights unprofessional behavior from the kitchen staff. The customer overheard inappropriate language and decided to walk out, opting to eat at a different establishment instead. This incident reflects poorly on the pub's professionalism and could potentially drive away customers who value a more professional and respectful atmosphere.
In conclusion, the Crown Hotel has several strengths such as its improved interior layout, competitive beer prices, and friendly staff. The newly decorated bar has been praised for its relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Furthermore, the pub has received positive feedback for the outstanding roast served on Easter Sunday and the chef's dedication to accommodating dietary restrictions. However, weaknesses include the lack of food options and inconsistent quality, as well as the unprofessional behavior of some kitchen staff. These weaknesses should be addressed in order to further enhance the overall experience for customers at the Crown Hotel.
