Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Local breakfast place in St. Helens Town. Nice hot chocolate but minted lamb wrapped was tasteless. Salad came without any dressing. Asked for BBQ, got 2 small packs.
Was a completely random walk in that didn't dissappoint! The sign in the window that said gluten free cakes available is what drew me in. Seated and seen to almost straight away. Plenty of variety available but in the end went for the philly cheese steak and chips on gluten free bread which was incredible. The wife ordered pea and ham soup with a chicken and stuffing barm which was really nice. Staff are very friendly and can tell they genuinely care as overheard their conversations with their other customers.
Would highly recommend.
This is my favourite cafe in St Helens. The staff are great. I'm gutted it's closing down and I'm sure there'll be others who feel the same way.... I'd like to thank all the staff for the excellent service and wish them all the best for the future.
Great food but Very tight spaced and busy atmosphere. Took my dad for lunch and he really liked the food. Toilet is up lots of stairs. Food amd service was good - ok for bite to eat when shopping.
Had breakfast in there yesterday with 3 ex-colleagues. Great service, reasonable prices. Thoroughly enjoyed my poached eggs on toast. Thanx.
My husband and I visited this place today and I must say that I was not impressed, the place was clean and tidy but the food left a lot to be desired.
My husband's food -he said - was ok, but mine was terrible.
One sausage was very well done compared with the other which was cooked properly, the eggs not only had to be sent back once but when the plate did come back they were horrible. And the chips I can only describe as hard and horrible, most of them looked like the little bits from the end of the bag.
Would not recommend
I love this place. I go there once a week and have never been disappointed. The food is always spot on and really good value for money.
Food was not very good,I had the hot pot which was just okay, but my wife ordered two sausage two hard eggs, chips and gravy, where should I start they failed to do hard eggs first time the chips were discussing I have never seen smaller chips in my life one of the to sausage's was burnt, and the two eggs were in about six different pieces after the staff returned the food it had been left on the counter for an extra ten minutes and was now getting coolish. The only reasonable thing was that the waitress apologized and offered to replace the meal with something else which after our experience we declined, sometime later we both felt sick I WOULD CERTAINLY NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE GO HERE TO HAVE ANY FOOD AFTER OUR EXPERIENCE.

Quick Facts About Country Kitchen

Country Kitchen is a local breakfast place in St. Helens Town. Based on the comments provided, there are both strengths and weaknesses to the establishment.
One strength mentioned by multiple commenters is the friendly and attentive staff. Customers appreciate the caring attitude and the personalized service they receive. The staff members engage with their customers and make them feel welcome. This can contribute to a positive dining experience and build customer loyalty.
Another strength is the availability of gluten-free options. The presence of gluten-free cakes attracts customers who have dietary restrictions or preferences. This shows that the establishment is accommodating and inclusive, catering to a diverse range of customers. The commenters specifically mention the incredible taste of the gluten-free philly cheese steak and chips on gluten-free bread, indicating that the quality of the gluten-free options is also noteworthy.
The reasonable prices are mentioned as a positive aspect of Country Kitchen. This can be attractive to customers looking for affordable dining options. The comments indicate that the prices align with the quality of the food and service, making it good value for money.
However, there are also weaknesses mentioned in the comments. One comment mentions that the minted lamb wrap was tasteless. This indicates a lack of flavor or seasoning in the dish. Tasteless food can be a significant drawback for any dining establishment, as flavor is a key factor in customer satisfaction.
Another weakness highlighted is the salad that came without any dressing. This indicates a lack of attention to detail and quality control. Dressing is a crucial component of a salad, and its absence can make the dish less enjoyable for customers. This omission suggests a lapse in kitchen management or oversight.
One commenter mentions that they asked for BBQ but only received two small packs. This can be seen as a weakness in terms of portion sizes and fulfilling customer requests. Failing to provide an adequate amount of sauce can result in an unsatisfactory dining experience for customers who enjoy or rely on sauces for flavor.
The tight and busy atmosphere is mentioned as a weakness. This can detract from the overall dining experience, as it can lead to discomfort and difficulties in navigating the space. A crowded and cramped environment may make it challenging for customers to relax and enjoy their meals.
One negative comment mentions that the food was not up to standard. The specific complaints include overcooked sausage, poorly cooked eggs, and hard and unappetizing chips. These flaws indicate a lack of consistency in the preparation and execution of dishes. Inconsistent quality can lead to disappointment and dissatisfaction among customers.
In conclusion, Country Kitchen has strengths in terms of friendly staff, gluten-free options, reasonable prices, and overall good value for money. However, weaknesses such as tasteless dishes, missing dressings, insufficient sauce portions, a tight atmosphere, and inconsistent food quality should be addressed to improve the dining experience and customer satisfaction.
