Its less of a barber shop and more of a salon for men. I thought owner was a vet so I wanted to support a vet. Not my thing. A dudes haircut shouldnt take more than 20.
I travel over an hour to Cortez and have a very chaotic schedule. These guys make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. I am very satisfied with the quality of work these guys offer. Very down to earth and welcoming kind of business. They take their time to make sure you are satisfied with your hair cut. In all honesty, I doubt you will find anywhere that does this kind of quality at this price.
Fair warning: you must make an appointment in order to get a haircut here. I couldn’t get my hair cut but Ivan was very helpful in helping me find another place. The inside was very nice and looked like a classic barber shop.
Great guys who do quality work. Will definitely visit next time I come through this way.

Just got my second cut here. Steven treated my hair like art the first time and I thought maybe it was just because I was new. NO! This was tied for the best haircut I've had in my life. I got the best haircut I’ve ever had from Ivan at Cortez barber shop on Christmas Eve. Excellent haircut, straight shave, and beard trim. It really was awesome service, and it looks much better that any standard haircut that I’ve ever gotten from a regular place.
