I always get a great haircut here. The guys are friendly and professional, and their work second to none.
Jay does a Fantastic job. With a head with a lot of stitches, having fun in the 80's, he does a great job not showing them. Now that I'm older and going bald he makes me still look good, I think so.
I know the owner and a friend that works here cut hair for years I take my friends and my son here every month to get their haircut and beard trimmed up
Jason, has become a model as to the role of barbers in modern society. Not only does he competently and adequately groom his clients, he does such with consistent cut quality, fairness and humility. Throughout his career he has done more for the barber profession by being a living example of a professional barber.
Best barber shop in town!! I've been getting my hair cut here since it first opened on 26th and Peach. Location on W 6th Street is fully updated and the staff and clientele is very personable. I always look forward to the conversations and new friends I meet when I'm due for my next cut.
New in town and was looking at different spots to get a hair cut. Based on previous reviews I decided to come here and I was not disappointed! Excellent service, I went in early and left early and decently priced as well. I will definitely be coming back as a regular.
This is a very professional and clean barber shop. I go in to see Jay Santos knowing each time I leave, he will have done an excellent job without question. I would highly recommend this barber shop to anyone in the area or even just visiting.
I absolutely would not ever patronize this shop again. I'm half black and have thick, curly hair which is obvious by just looking at me. The owner told me he could handle cutting ethnic hair so I decided to give it a try, as I was leaving the following day for vacation in California. I waited in the shop for over an hour while he cut the hair of the people in front of me. When it was my turn he told he "didn't have time for this" but ONLY AFTER he began cutting my hair! When I asked him if he needed me to brush my hair out, he replied that he had to go pick up his kid.
As far as I'm concerned, that was an extremely rude and unprofessional way to deal with someone who is unlike the normal clientele. If he didn't know how to cut the hair of an ethnically ambiguous person he should have just said so rather than wasting my time. Never again!
