Love this spot. Me n my son come here every 2 weeks. Just gotta make sure u go to the right barber.
Tl;dr The cut itself was good enough, and the price was reasonable. The customer service could have been much better.
I went for a pretty simple haircut, and it was performed well enough, although they did not use any gel, unlike what was shown in the reference picture used, not even an attempt. 25 dollars for a standard haircut, reasonable. There were 2 barbers when I was there. While getting the haircut, my barber spoke to the other barber constantly, in a foreign language. (The language itself was not a problem). He spoke too soft for the other barber to hear most of the time, over the sound of the hair trimmers buzzing, which led to it seeming like he was talking on the phone or something, as he would talk and the other wouldn't respond (The other barber seemed much better as he actually spent the time talking to his customers, checking in with them on the cut and so on). I believe the other barber is the owner, he clearly knows what he is doing both with customers and with the cut itself.. Mine only spoke to me 3 or 4 times throughout the entire cut, instead, silently pushing on my head to signal for me to turn it, and only turned me to actually see what he was doing in the mirror near the very end. I would go back here for a simple haircut, if I was in a rush, but would likely go somewhere else if I wanted to enjoy the experience.
Cut my hair for years in this location, there is couple good guys but last few times an new smoker come back, at least wash your hands buddy.
They theif, the haircut was 30 dollars but they charged me 50. I didn't know at first after I paid and left . I called and asked how much the price of their cuts are and I was told 30. I didn't even bother going back but wanted to show to the public what they do.
Friendly staff. They are all very friendly and very nice! Check there other location too by Burien.
Usually I go to the other location of the classic Barber shop on 6th ave and 152nd in burien, I go to get my haircut with “Rami” he’s the best barber, he’s out of town so I I give it a shot to this one and the guy that did my haircut haircut was decent but he literally cut all my face with a straight razor, I think the owner should be aware of the hiring and to check that they are capable to do their job because now I’m going to vacation tomorrow and I look like a Frankenstein ????????♂️
