Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Nice pub a bit dated but clean, some great window seats with fantastic views of WSM promenade. Beer prices reasonable and staff are friendly.
As always great Sunday roast carvery... Phoned for reservation and accommodated eight adults and two children. The food is always hot and fresh and a great choice of six meats and lots of fresh vegetables...
Great value at £10 for large plate with the option to go back for more..
Good old English pub with plenty of seating and serving decent and well cooked meals, great Sunday carvery. Family have been coming here for years, very accommodating owners and staff who are always willing to make slight changes to meals for us, good value, good beer, nice views.
This place is very popular for Sunday lunch.. they are not open all week and the pub is up for sale.Sunday lunch is very good. Lots of choice very good meat. It's run on a budget I would say but they do not skimp on Sunday lunch.
Friendly staff and well kept beer. Prawn sandwiches were exceptionally generously filled and salad fresh. Nice sea views from a somewhat dated interior. Delivers more than its appearance would suggest.
We've stayed nearby a few times but this was the first time we went in to Claremont Vaults. It's OK. Lovely views out of the windows over the Channel. It's a pretty average pub. Nothing special but not bad. It's what you might expect from a simple local. We only went in for a drink but might have a meal there next time and see how that is.
Great free house / restaurant. Situated end of seafront. Sunday lunch a legend - booking advisable especially for window seats - views to die for. Music Sunday evening. Good pool/TV area. Outside verandah/drinking area -what views over bay. Located in residential/ hotel area away from town centre idiots ! Worth a visit . only downside is it could do with upgrade.
Yuk, what a grubby naff place for such a stunning view! If someone with some savvy took this it could be THE place.
Dated with no connections to the sea front or harbour. How about some great sunset photos taken by locals?
Air the place in the day?
Landlord /lady might want to listen to a few young opinions on decor, hygiene, music menu and cocktails?!
Shame, I used to go here when I was in my 20s. Had an energetic young clientele, now old and dowdy.

Quick Facts About Claremont Vaults

Claremont Vaults has several strengths that make it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. Firstly, many reviewers commented on the nice pub atmosphere and friendly staff. This creates a welcoming environment for customers and encourages a positive experience. Additionally, the pub is described as clean, which is an important factor for patrons when considering where to dine or drink.
Another strength mentioned by multiple reviewers is the fantastic views of the Weston-super-Mare promenade. The availability of window seats with these views is a definite advantage and adds to the overall charm and ambiance of the pub.
The beer prices are another positive aspect of Claremont Vaults. Being reasonable, they make it an affordable option for customers seeking a drink. This can contribute to its popularity, especially among locals who may frequent the pub regularly.
One of the standout features of Claremont Vaults is its Sunday roast carvery. Reviewers consistently praise the quality and taste of the food, with many mentioning the hot and fresh dishes with a great choice of meats and fresh vegetables. The affordable price of £10 for a large plate, along with the option to go back for more, is seen as excellent value for money. This Sunday carvery is a strong draw for customers, especially families, and contributes to the pub's positive reputation.
The accommodating nature of the owners and staff is also mentioned as a strength. Several reviewers state that the staff are willing to make slight changes to meals to accommodate personal preferences or dietary restrictions. This willingness to accommodate customers' needs creates a positive impression and shows a commitment to delivering a good experience.
On the other hand, there are some weaknesses that potential customers should be aware of. One reviewer mentioned that the pub is only open for Sunday lunch, which limits the dining options available, potentially disappointing those looking to visit on other days. Moreover, the comment that the pub is up for sale raises questions about its long-term stability and may make customers uncertain about its future.
Another weakness highlighted by a reviewer is the somewhat dated interior. While the pub is described as clean, the datedness can be off-putting for some customers seeking a more modern atmosphere. Additionally, the suggestion for an upgrade further emphasizes this weakness and highlights a potential area for improvement.
One reviewer mentions that the pub is located in a residential/hotel area away from the town center, which may be seen as a disadvantage by some. However, others may view this as a positive, as it can provide a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the town center.
Lastly, there is one negative comment regarding decor, hygiene, music menu, and cocktails. While this reviewer's opinion is not expanded upon, it raises concerns about the overall quality and standards of the pub. This is something potential customers should consider before visiting.
In conclusion, Claremont Vaults has several strengths that make it an attractive choice for customers, including its welcoming atmosphere, clean environment, fantastic views of the promenade, reasonable beer prices, and quality Sunday carvery. However, there are also potential weaknesses to consider, such as limited opening hours, a dated interior, and negative comments regarding decor, hygiene, music menu, and cocktails.
