My visit went well but I give four stars. There are new staff and I miss the old employees who were just so down to earth and assisted me with help. It use to be an entire experience. They were honest and held conversations. I recall one time, one of the old employees told me, " Girl that wig is not for you and deep down I knew she was correct. ???? However, the staff there now are professional.
My 1st time being there...lots of products...the people were very friendly,, very helpful and patient with my needs????????????????
I do miss the workers who were truly helpful and giving information on hair care products best type of weave and wigs
I been shopping at this beauty supply store for many years. They just lost me as a customer for life 5/23/22 I went to get a wig from there and the sign on the wig said 25.99 they charged 29.99 but I did not realize it till I got home and checked my receipt. I called the store and was told the tag was wrong and it was 29.99. So I asked because it was a store error could I be refunded a few dollars and was told no. Please buyer beware of this beauty supply they are not fair. I am going to spread the word about this place in a very negative light.
They have officially lost a customer. I needed bleach solution to make my hair lighter. The lady with weave didn't know anything I was talking about then she was insulting me talking about she don't know nothing about "coloring fake hair."The nerve of her to call my hair fake when she is the one with weave in her head. Then I ask her for color to put ontop of the light color, she shows me the asile and tell me "I'm on my own" with picking colors. Now I'm at the register she rings me up and I'm asking her if she knows if the items I have is all I need. she tells me she wouldn't know then I ask her would the lady on the next register know and she says she definitely wouldn't know. Then she tells me to grab an application brush, I run towards the brushes pick one up with a bowl turn back around and she VOIDS all my items out. Now there are 3 people in line so I have to get all the way in the back then when I get up there again another lady says she can take me and I'm telling her that she already had my stuff in the bag she was quickly ready to hand my bag to her like I'm the problem. Needless to say. Poor customer service.I won't be back.
When you're tired, have a Bonet on, because I just got off work that morning you don't want people following you to see if you're stealing and not even asking if you need help finding what you need. They've done me like that 3 times already.
So many options of wigs, weaves, lace fronts, pack hair, marley hair, hair to crochet, ponytails/buns and so much more. Knowledgeable and friendly employees. I think it may be the biggest beauty supply store in Joliet.
The owner acts too sure of himself. Remember we are the reason your store is still standing. When someone asks a question, it is only professional to answer them. Show some decency.
The employees are nice but as I said the owner needs a slice of humble pie. Sky Beauty's owners are much nicer.
