Der erste Eindruck ist zwar nicht so einladent aber wenn man erst mal sitzt wird man sehr nett bedient und bekommt schnell seinen Kaffee. Frühstück war sehr gut und alles frisch zubereitet. Ein wenig hat man das Gefühl man sitzt in den 80 ziger in einem Dinner und Clint Eastwood kommt gleich bei der Tür rein.

I was pleasantly shocked at the food and service we received from City Star Family Restaurant.

You know these small sun-down towns could be a hit or miss and scary sometimes. However, this one was actually pretty good.

Our server Dina was excellent. The Catfish was the most popular on the menu as it seems like everyone was ordering it.

Overall, City Star Family Restaurant is worth stopping by if you're in the area.

Visited today for the first time. All the staff was friendly and our food came very quickly. I ordered two eggs with country fried steak and it was very good. 50's/60's style atmosphere. Would go again.

Wow! What a place. Getting harder and harder to find a family restaurant. Definitely a winner. Had clam strips and my brother had the catfish. Both were quite a bit better than expected even after the waitress (daughter of the owner) talked up the catfish as being famous. Clam strips were battered in house and were amazing.

Just passing through this area but wish I could come back soon.

The service was amazing. The manager Latifah and our Waitress Christine are the best!!!! OMG the food was amazing. We had the Catfish with hushpuppies & Chicken Parm. Kids had the Hotdogs and Spaghetti & Meatballs. Yum!!!

Very nice place, the food was very good and the portions were huge. We had enough for the next day. The service was great. Our server was very polite and attentive.

This was terrible we sat down just long enough to order drinks and then left. The place looked run down and there was a man behind the counter on a chair wouldn't say nothing he just kepted on looking at us giving us dirty looks. I told my husband I'm not eating hear let's go.

My wife and I had a great dinner here. Great atmosphere and excellent service. We both had the special, beef ravioli with salad and garlic bread. It was very good and prices were fair. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. We spoke with the owner as we were leaving and thanked him for the meals. He was very humble and likable. I would recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly and hope this business is able to survive through this difficult time of pandemic fears and financial hardships.
