Schnell, gut und günstig. Perfekt.

Great traditional East London cafe offering a wide range of food on the menu, From traditional English cuisine to European Continental cuisine. Food is fresh and cooked in fill view of customers. Bright, warm and inviting colours on the interior design. Very spacious seating arrangements that can hold a large group of people. Customer service is friendly with a smile and fantastic. Staff always check back after food has been served to see if everything is to your liking. Always a great experience when dining here.

Great food at reasonable prices. Lots of choice. Staff are all very friendly and polite.

As always, great food and service.

Terrible! Bad service asked for ketchup to be put in the burger and the chef only put 3 drops. Ordered a maple pancake but it was soggy and burnt. Beans where missing from the english breakfast i ordered and they ofered an 80p refund...

A very big waste of £23 !!!!! Because everything went in the bin!!!!

Very friendly service, good food, if you want coffee go to to this cafe as all other coffee shops in the area are very expensive.

This cafe has gone down in my estimations. Quite a few of us have stopped going in there. I just want to make it clear it's not really the food or the staff as such. Their prices are a joke, every week they seem to change depending on who serves you. One of our party gets the same thing every week and always gets charged differently price going up not down?? £9.50 for a breakfast and a cuppa is a joke. Plenty of other cafes around that we can go to thankfully. Shame cause we've been going in there for years. Bye bye city cafe 2.

Very poor service, staff was rude. Chef was shouting across dining table. Dont recommend it.

Spacious and roomy, helpful staff, decent menu selection. decent food always worth a visit when on Hackney Road. None of this posey pretentious nonsense
