Very good chippy the best one I’ve been to

Staff are very friendly and accommodating

Food is always amazing especially the hot wings solid 11/10 this place

The food looked lovely but they cared more about their closing time than their customer. I had walked flat out for half an hour to get there at 13:55 but was told my only option was what had already been cooked. Very disappointing. I had promised the family fish and there was none cooked so had to waste further time walking into Ryde instead.

Best bit of haddock, nicely cooked, all fresh

Lovely chips, not greasy and battered sausage is very tasty. Prices are very good too, great value for money. One of our favourite chippies on the Island and we've tried most of them!!

We stayed down Monkton on our holiday and often passed the Chipmunk. Drawn in by the georgeous smells eminating one evening we paid a visit. The staff and locals we spoke to were all extremely friendly which was great and there's plenty to read on the walls while you wait. The cod we had was of excellent quality and the batter was nice and crispy. The chips too had a few crispy ones. All in all we had a lovely meal.

Great food and lovely staff

A superb chippy. Karen and her team are always friendly, the walls are full of good jokes that you can laugh to while waiting. The quality of the product is superb always and they give generous portions.
