However they do need a new system in place during the weeks to make orders easier, the phone is nearly always engaged and it can mean leaving it nearly impossible to order a takeaway during the weekends! Also they need to start accepting card payments, cash only isn’t a great option.
As a few have said, new owners, things have changed. Unfortunately for my order at least not for the better. Salt n chili ribs were bland with barely any onions/chili/garlic. They got rid of my favourite item on the menu (crispy lamb). Even the rice was poor compared to what it used to be. Hopefully they improve over time but it was a very disappointing first go of it. Going to miss the lovely previous owners, would have liked to have said goodbye but hope they're alright. Will try again soon to see if there are improvements but may need to find somewhere else.
Got a takeaway yesterday and realised straight away, smaller portions got meat in 2 veg meals. Tufu was spongy and sauce was watery. Pork chewy. I was told the previous cooks left a month ago. I absolutely lived the food before, it's such a shame.
New owners now. They use the smaller and less desirable plastic containers. This place was a 10-10 now it’s a 2 out 10 I agree with other recent reviews the flavour has gone. I won’t return.
Ohh Nooooo! "Wot U want" lady has gone and so has the food. Been our regular and only reliable takeaway in town for many many years, quality has gone, totally flavourless salt chilli ribs, no salt or chilli, just grim. 1/4 crispy duck - a bone and finely diced meat - 1/4 ? doubtful. Chicken Curry, now watery and flavourless.
The foil containers have been replaced with the standard plastic that I believe may be smaller but the price is unchanged!
Thought she had gone for Chinese New Year but no, 2nd visit - new owners. I'm now a number not Mr (Christian name) Won't be going back anytime soon.
Regulars will be leaving by the drove.

Fantastic Chinese in Bishop's Stortford!! Very popular - phone through as early as possible. The staff are super friendly, the food is delicious and the portions are huge for the price. This will always be my go to now!
