The food was prepared quickly and was lovely. The coffee was good too. My wife has been here a number of times, but it was my first visit and I enjoyed popping in for a hot sandwich!
I also bumped into an old friend who I hadn't seen in over 5 years. Well worth a visit.
Nice little cafe. Great choice of foods , friendly staff, always a good place when in scarborough to grab a coffee and a bite to eat
Good cafe, great price on breakfast. Pot of tea was very ample. Lady did us a amazing gesture and gave our olde tyme English Bulldoge a free breakfast and drink ant no extra charge.

Basic old fashioned cafe...pot of tea great the breakfast was edible. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there ???? cheap but not cheerful. Wouldn't go back or recommend.
When I placed my order, they got it Wrong which I understand, sometimes it happens but when I asked for my order to be rectified, I received a soggy, thrown together sandwich with salad that I can only assume had been prepared with an axe.. The prawns were warm and some still had their waste pipes intact. Feeling nauseous.
I gave one star for the mediocre coffee but due to the customer service from the assumed owner I was unable to give more and would not use this cafe especially if you need the loo, I sat with my wife and had a coffee and a packet cake each while she fed the baby.
Our teenage daughters had met us as we were leaving but first my wife needed the toilet so asked where the toilet was. The owner said she wasn’t a customer and was unable to use the toilet even though we had brought stuff, then she said our daughters were not customers so my wife couldn’t use the toilet due to that as well. upon myself stating we have brought food and told her where we were sat she continued to say we’re weren’t allowed to use the toilet, my wife walked back to our seat. When questioned by another customer what was said the owner then said she could use it very abruptly with no apology nothing .She was very rude and lacking customer service skills. We will not be returning to the cafe.
Cafe very dated and old fashioned. Prices cheap, food basic (but ok), but elderly lady serving is ignorant and needs to learn some customer service or retire. We will not be back in this cafe and definitely do NOT recommend. ☹️
