This was my first time at Café D'Jaconelli & I asked for a Tuna, Cheese & Onion Toastie & the picture below is the end result from an established cafe in the West End of Glasgow ????
Mind you, it was extremely busy when I placed my order, but this was prepared with no care or love! ???? What I received was a dogs dinner to the T ???? Absolutely disgusting ???? Better yet, it was grotesque! ????
I am sorry. I am so sorry. I apologise – wholeheartedly – if anyone is extremely offended by this review as most people are regulars but an opinion is an opinion & I am entitled to my opinion ????

Had the best big breakfast ever, went down a treat. Great atmosphere and the customer service was second to none. Very reasonably priced too. I didn't have any room to fit in a knickerbocker glory but I will do next time. If you've never been, you gotta try this wee gem of a place
You would be wrong to go to a place like Jaconelli's expecting top quality food, but you would be right if you went expecting good value for money and a trip back in time for a glimpse of the Glasgow of old. The chips are of the old-fashioned but tasty 'as granny used to make' variety, if you can get over them being cooked in a fryer with chicken burgers. The macaroni cheese is also very tasty, and I hear they also do a mean breakfast. The staff are down to earth and great with customers. The ice cream, however, is the clear star of the show in my humble opinion.
If you don't like sharing a table with another group, then this is probably not the place for you – but if you want authenticity and a trip down memory lane, this is the place to go.
I have loved this cafe for decades. Best ice cream and breakfast rolls. The lassies are just a pure joy and the cook at the back is dead nice ????
Old school cafe. Beautiful art deco interior. Good quality and well priced food. Didn't try the famous ice cream sundaes. Will do that next time.
Food here is excellent friendly staff, amazing ice cream and full breakfast is fab
Good breakfast, with amazing retro interior full of character. They also sell a huge selection of classic sweets and ice cream.
Ordered a cheese burger and chips with cheese and gravy. Waited over half an hour burger was mediocre and some of the chips only half cooked. People who came in after me were serve and given their food before me.
