I have finally found a barber shop for my 5 year old son. They did a great job. Flawless fade. My son really loved the experience and said "we are going there again."Thank you for making it a fun experience for us. We will be coming back for sure!
Absolutely the best haircut in town.. in Georgia for that matter. That said, be prepared to wait. There will be a line.
Tony is a great barber who takes pride in his work. I've only been a couple times but he makes you feel like a regular. You may have to wait a bit since he doesn't take call aheads, but to me it's worth it. His prices are great. I would highly recommend.
FYI: He is CASH ONLY! (However he did let me step out and go to the atm to withdraw some cash after my haircut)
Mr. Brown was awesome. Had a great shave and talked about the past. Glad he came out of retirement and is doing well. Next time I am back in Athens to visit my daughter I will be visiting him as well.

Great cuts, great people, reasonable price for the best cut in town
I visited first time there, i tried other places in athens but didn't get cut what i wanted. But here George did excellent job. Wonderful place. There is a waiting time but this is what you can expect from a nice barber shop. You don't need appointment just walk straight into the shop!
I'm the type to have the same barber for years if I can find one that does a good job at cutting my hair. I moved to Athens recently, and was worried about the process of finding a new barber. I was very impressed with the haircut and service I received at Brown's Barber Shop. I will definitely be back.
