Worth a stop, especially if you have a spare bin bag with you to collect all the trash. Honestly this could one of the best looking lagoons on a sunny summer day, but its full of trash and really run down.

Much potential but ruined by litter, picnic debris, binsacks full of rubbish in the woodland, rusty gas bottles in the water and rusting cars presumably tipped over the cliffs. Surprisingly busy for a remote location but disappointed to see it so abused.

Great views, clean and tidy after the volunteer workers cleaned up all the plastic waste here. Perfect for runs, walks, families, dogs great views and well worth a stroll around this natural beauty. Very lucky they never filled this quarry in, would of gone to waste. This gem is only around a 35 minute drive from cwmbran depending on traffic and doesn't disappoint. Great photography or drone flying pictures to be had here. Great place to visit if local with some other walks nearby. Free parking here which is a bonus, however there is now a new fence blocking entry to the blue lagoon as the water has blue and green algae which is poisonous to humans and animals so no point visiting anymore which is a shame. All the trees have been chopped down around the area as well which is a shame. Rubbish seems to have returned and quite a few camp fires left behind.

A simply stunning place, bit of tricky walk over very uneven ground (fallen trees/ roots/ rocks etc) a narrow path to start off with but soon opens up. Verge parking ideal when its dry, wouldn't recommend it in the wet/rain! NO toilet facilities NO bins and that is sadly what lets such a beautiful place like this down as people don't always take their rubbish home with them so was a fair few bottles/wrappers/BBQ's etc scattered all around. A definite must visit.

A bit hard to find if you don't park in the right place. So beautiful, unbelievably beautiful. Just such a shame about all the rubbish that's been left. Please take your trash with you!

Enter via the gate to the right if you park on the road, then cut left under and over trees.

A disgusting amount of litter has been left on the site, please take anything hone with you.

If you walk round the outside you can get right to the end if the canyon and to a burnt-out rusty car.

All in all a nice peaceful spot somewhat ruined by litter and rubbish left
