I can't believe this place is still in business !..pictured is their fish and chips priced at £7. This is without doubt the most paltry sized serving iv ever recieved in my 45 years on earth. The fish was 5..6" at best and definitely qualified as a mini-fish.

To be just, the taste wasn't bad per se but

nowhere near the best iv tasted. I had cod and chips up in Yardley last week and could just about finish it so recieving this kid-size portion was dissapointing.

Eat In Order: Two Battered Cod and Chips, 2 Battered Sausages, with sides of Peas, Gravy, Onions, 2 slices of Bread, a cup of Tea, a Pepsi can and chilli sauce.

I had been wanting to try here ever since heard of it! As it's close and nicely priced. Must I say this beat my expectations, we both said it was the best fish & chips place we'd ever been too! All the food was so fresh, tastes incredible! Amazing textures, the batter was perfect. Went down amazingly.

The Staff were ever so lovely, so acommidating and kind. We were so satisfied with our whole experience and we can't wait to come again.

I come to bedders with my brother today, and I have to say this was one of the best fish & chips I've had in years, the fish batter was crispy and light and the chips were light and fluffy, gravy or mushy peas come with the meal along side with slices of bread & butter with a drink or your choice, which is great value for money, sit down meal is £9:50, the portion size is just right you definitely feel stuffed when you leave, highly recommended this location if you fancy some remarkable fish and chips from the chefs there, customer service is excellent aswel, the guy that served me was really polite and makes you feel welcome. So all in all was definitely a 10/10 experience, I use to come when I was younger and the food was great then and havent been in years, and it's nice to see even after all these years, they still cooking with the same quality.

I am not a big fan of fish and chips. Somebody who loves fish will like this place more than me.

There is plenty of free parking available off road, quite busy place and gets closed by 2pm.

Mike’s Fish & Chips shop is so far The Best in Birmingham! Delicious fish and hand cut chips, friendly and extremely quick stuff all accomplished with cozy traditional atmosphere. Highly recommend l, so don’t hesitate to pay a visit and enjoy proper fish & chips.

The most delicious and tasty fish and chips I’ve ever had!

One of the best chippy's in the city. They have a long history and they know how to cook chips. Their cod is pure white, fresh and again cooked to perfection. Look for their opening times as they are not open every evening. When you visit, to sit in or take out ask for onion, which is chopped up onion in vinegar, fantastic on your chips, and if you ask you may get scraps or scratchings depending on where you come from. Either way visit its worth it.
