Very kind, walk-ins welcome, affordable, and quick- once seated.
Unfortunately, too quick, as my toenail polish was extremely sloppy, and separated while I waited to dry, so showed him. He said something about the polish while rushing to correct before going back to his new client, but my daughter and I couldn't hear or understand. He redid maybe 4 of them, yet they ended up worse than they were initially:(.
(All that was needed was basic polish). It didn't dry enough between coats before putting the clearcoat on is why it separated IMO).
We just had them done last night, and can in the 1st photo, the paint is already chipped off without contact with anything. Unsure how my daughters nails are, but not even worth $15 if I can't enjoy them painted for a day.
Not impressed. Sloppy hurried work, and polish didn't last 24 hours as seen in the last picture only... the other two are upon leaving nail salon).
I would only go there again if I couldn't get into nail salon in SW Topeka.
Also, I would request the man near the front counter, as he was kind, genuine, helpful, knowledgeable, meticulous, efficient, and seemed to take pride in what he was doing (my daughters nails, a full set).
I had a Gel manicure done months ago and there are STILL gouges in my nails. (That’s fairly normal for Acrylics, but NEVER supposed to happen with Gel) Not to mention they were oddly shaped, patchy, they messed up my natural nail shape, and somehow managed to hurt me during the removal of my regular polish before the manicure. The prices are cheap, and you get what you pay for here.
This happened one week after my nails were done. It happened with my last manicure as well. They insist on doing a dip and putting shellac over it. The dip is what doesn’t stick. I’m very disappointed. I have used their services for a couple of years and now this. I will NOT be returning and I dropped by to tell them so. I pay far too much for this to happen one week after a manicure. They request you make an appointment, yet, you sit and wait.
Kevin and Angie are the owners of beauty now and they always do a wonderful job as well as their other nail stylists. I have never had a problem with them, I think they're the best and I've been going there for years and sending all my friends.
Came in for an acrylic fill and gel polish. My nails looked horrible! Bleeding cuticles, patchy, uneven, messy color. I was left with nails looking like they were already a week old. I spoke to the owner, Kevin and told him I was unhappy with my nails. He told me he could fix them and told me to sit and wait. As I was waiting, the woman who did my nails began talking badly about me with a customer! So unprofessional! I will not be returning.
Came in at 6pm for a pedicure, they were finished by 6:13. $32 is a great price for a pedicure but felt super rushed. Massage was extremely short, no exfoliating. Employees were kind and friendly. Just disappointed in extreme speed of service. Didn't have time to relax before I was out the door.
I went here to try out their services with bad results. My nails were initially nice but within 24 hours they started to peel. I am now 1 week after having their Dip Nail service and I am having them redone. I appreciated the cleanliness of the building but overall, horribly disappointed in the service.
It was ok price was a tad high 50. The guy who did my nails was very professional and nice the place was very clean.
