The Asian Korean people that work there are very rude and racist. I was asking other customers in the store about how to properly place a hoop ring in my nose before deciding to buy one and of them asked if I was going to buy something and why was I standing there all rude and when another customer heard what she said and was letting her know that she was being rude the lady responded back saying so. It was like she didn't even care that she was being rude to me. Months ago I has an issue with a guy who use to work there. As I was purchasing items for my hair I was asked by the store owner that I must have an I.D in order to make a purchase there, when I explained to her about me being a regular and never being asked for my I.D she then proceeds to put her hands in my face. I told her how rude she was being and she told me not to come back. She even went far as to locking up some of the customers inside the store. When the police arrived I explained to them what had happened and how I get harrassed shopping there. Even the cops knew that she was racist. If you want better service please shop at Bella crown. They treat their customers with respect. I hope this place goes out of business. I have been boycotting Asian owned businesses ever since.
I am totally boycotting this place and encouraging others to do this same. The cashier is nice, but I totally think she should find some place else to work because the owners are RUDE!
I came in looking for some leave-in that they usually carry. I went down the usual isle and it wasn't there. Asked the cashier if they had it. She was really nice and said no ma'am we are out. The Asian owner started yelling, we are close. I checked my phone and watched it was 6:51pm.

Go shop at LUXE Beauty Supply instead or AMAZON! This place is horrible!
They are not deserving of any stars!!!! HORRIBLE service, I will never go back! The employees are all rude. I can't believe they are still in business. How can an establishment sell wigs, but won't allow you to try them on? I went to Beauty Max today to help my sister find a wig. The store has two barber style chairs in the back with mirrors but a note to customers that wigs cannot be tried on! After talking to one of the workers, I was told I had to buy a cap in order to try the wigs on, which I did. As I was trying on the wigs, one of the workers stood over us, watching our every move, but would not provide assistance. After the third wig, she said "you tried on three already and you only can try on one more"! I couldn't believe the poor customer service. At this rate, they will never sell any of their products!
Brought a item recently and the cashier didn’t give me a receipt than come back next day and told me I can’t return or exchange it…..how can I do any of that when they didn’t give me receipt??? Manager is rude and doesn’t care to help. I am gm at different store and have similar experiences like this but this is crazy she doesn’t care and saying I’m rude!
The Asians watched me like my mother would when I was 5 years old. They followed me around the store. They are RACIST. Won’t go here again. The Sally’s is just as good and their is another good store in Brandywine crossing.
The manager of this establishment is RUDE and SUCKS at being a manager. She did not want to stop what she was doing to assist me and when I said something to the lady at the cashier about what happened the manager started yelling at me. She even went as far as saying "I don't need your money" as she began to walk up on me. All I was trying to do was give them my business. I guess I will give it elsewhere.
To the manager who said that " I know your rich" I'm not rich. Just an African American woman who believes in spending a little extra money to look nice. However, what I will not do is support businesses who don't honor giving their customers a good shopping experience.
Every time I get a chance to go down to the store I tend to ALWAYS have great experiences. I love my wigs and this last time the guy really made my experience awesome he gave me a cap and help me pick out the perfect piece. Men have a different perspective when they see a women's hair and I could def appreciate his honesty. Then there is the black chick at the front absolutely wonderful and a pleasure every time I go in . She makes you feel like you are not there just for merchandise but really brings a warm feel to the over all experience. There is no other place I would go for my wigs.
No refund without a receipt even though they mark their items with a special, tamper-proof bar code. I purchased the wrong purple shampoo for my newly colored hair. Beauty max refused to exchange my shampoo for the right product. What is the point of marking all products? I have no use for a $9 unopened bottle of purple shampoo.
I would rather shop at another beauty supply store...down the street
