I walked in to get a quote on the work that I wanted. The woman there told me that it would be $50.
When, I actually went a few days later, they charged me $140.
My hair did NOT come out the way that I wanted it to. I repeated multiple times that I wanted them to do certain things. Only at the end did I find out that they didn't understand what I was talking about. Now, I'm going to have to spend EXTRA money to get it fixed elsewhere...
I am NEVER going there ever again and I will tell my friends/family to avoid them as well.
A great place for men to get a haircut, or ladies to take care of their hair dressing needs. Friendly, well trained staff. Vibrant Latin styled background music.

My barber Jean Carlos has been my personal barber for years. Over 10 years. I literally drive and pay the toll to see him. He cuts my son's hair. Great barbershop all the barbers are good.
Conch does my hair and all 4 of my daughters…she’s great we are African American and Puerto Rican…No perms in our hair and it comes out nice no heat damage… been coming here for years…I would recommend anyone to come here and see Concy…
Very affordable and friendly staff. As far as I can tell, all the hairdressers are Hispanic, but I was able to communicate in English which was great. Anna is my hairdresser and she's amazing. My hair always looks fabulous when she's done with it. I've seen a few other hairdressers when Anna wasn't available and my hair still came out looking great.
It's best to have cash because there is a 3 0r 4% fee added when you use a credit card. There is an ATM in the shop if needed. I've never used it so I don't know if there is a charge from your bank to use it. Also, the salon loves playing their music so be prepared to hear it at higher than normal levels. The barber shop is connected right next door so that's very convenient.
I love Yolanda. She listens, she's gentle, and she's the only one who does my hair the way I like. I feel she cares about the health of my hair and makes great suggestions. I moved to Brooklyn and still find my way back here because no one compares.
