My autistic 10 year old son who hates getting his hair cut sits nice and still for the male barbers at The Barber Shoppe in Wisc Rapids, and the oldest stylist is the best fader on a boys head of hair I've ever seen , highly recommend him, wish I knew his name. Best place in town for cutting little boys and big boys heads of hair, period! And same price as everywhere else, 18$.
After years of getting haircuts at chain salons due to convenience, I finally got tired of the inconsistency - and I'm so glad my friends recommended I try The Barber Shoppe! Such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, with friendly, skilled barbers. I immediately felt the difference in quality when Tim started working on my hair, and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. It was also nice to schedule an appointment instead of dealing with walk-in wait times (although they do take walk-ins). I was so happy with my experience I scheduled my next cut before leaving. Stop wasting your money at the chains and give these guys a try!

Great atmosphere prices are well worth the service. Took myself and a kid on walk in with no problem. I would make an appointment though. We got lucky. Highly recommended going here.

My hair was down passed my shoulders when I walked into the Barber Shoppe because my last two haircuts, at the salon I was going to, ended up being horrible. So, I was leery to go anywhere else. I called the Barber Shoppe to get scheduled and they were able to get me in right away as a slot had opened up. The whole staff were kind, professional, and enjoyable to talk to. I had forgotten how much I missed the quality of a really good hair cut that you can often only get at an actual barber shop. They straight razor the edges and vacuum hair off of you. They go the extra mile to make sure you leave there feeling and looking your best. The prices were very good for the area and well worth it. This is definitely my new go-to place in Rapids for a great haircut.
