This is my local Chinese restaurant but we had never tried it before- we were pleasantly surprised. The service was super quick the owners were so nice and friendly and the food was so so good. It definitely rivals more expensive, high end restaurants I've been to. The presentation of the food was lovely and we had a few special requests as we were eating out with our toddler but nothing was too mush hassle. NB no high chairs available - just beware.

The Sunday Menu is amazing.

I am ashamed to say I have never put a google review for the bamboo house up. But that’s probably because I have been going long before there was even an internet, so never thought to do it. We have celebrated so many occasions with you, and without fail have had the best meals, with the most friendly service. I am gutted you guys are closing. Absolutely lovely had my very first Chinese meal with my wife it was very tasty freshly cooked. The staff were very friendly a s whilst we waited for our takeaway they gave us a complimentary drink.

Only recently discovered this place after living in the area for quite a while but I wish we had it sooner! Really good food and friendly. Great veggie options: great tofu and lovely veg. Hope they will go online (have to get cash!) but highly recommend.
We absolutely love this place. The owners make a point to build rapport with the regulars like us & make you feel welcome. The food here is just out of this world. Always an enjoyable meal which goes down a treat. Highly recommend a visit here.
This is the best Chinese restaurant/take away in the area and there are quite a few to choose from. The staff are polite, efficient and courteous. We have been going here for years and the food has always been really delicious. Deserves every one of the 5 stars I have given.
It is a little bit more expensive than the competition but the extra is worth paying for. They also do take away with a delivery service but when busy there can be a bit of a wait till the food arrives though you are told of the expected delay and when it does arrives it is still piping hot. Of course you can choose to pick up the order yourself but be warned if driving that car parking can be a bit limited nearby.
All in all I thoroughly recommend this place.
