Great staff! Great location with plenty of parking! And most importantly a GREAT haircut! I would definitely recommend B&A. Especially now. With Covid-19 and all the guidelines/restrictions I felt extremely safe and comfortable while there. The chairs had enough distance between them. All the staff and clients had their masks on. I personally witnessed them wipe down my chair after the client before me left and before I sat in the chair. The entire experience is and always has been great. If you’re looking for a new barber or even just in the area visiting and need a cut - go to B&A!
I started taking my son to B&A about 15 years ago when he was just 6. I’ve been coming back ever since. All the barbers, not just Boris and Alex, are great at their craft and all are personable. I’m a “follically challenged” middle-aged guy but they still give me the same great service as if I was John Travolta in his prime.
Can’t beat their $21 cut. The short vibrating back massage that follows is on the house and is awesome. If you’ve had a stressful week, dial up their hot towel shave for some affordable decadence.
Most of the staff left Uzbekistan when things got rough for the Jewish community there years ago and if they’re not too busy, you might be lucky enough to hear about it. A wonderful example of hard working immigrants lucky enough to make it in America.
B&A barbershop has been my spot for years! Come see Alex and the team for excellent hair cuts, beard trims and shape ups. Also do men’s eye brow waxing.
They’re taking all proper covid protocols with disposable aprons, hand sanitizing and proper spacing!
I've been going to B&A nearly since it opened. The service is always friendly. They are true professionals. Liz just asks, "the usual?" All I have to say is yup and I always get a great haircut, just how I like it. There are lots of little touches that make for as others have said an old school tonsorial experience. A haircut should be a pleasure it always is at B&A whether, Alex, Boris, Liz or any other guys cut your hair. Have a hot towel straight razor shave. You'll feel like a million bucks
I pass several shops to come B&A. Over time I’ve let most of the crew have a shot at my hair and have never been disappointed. Great service, extra touches, more-than-fair prices and good hours. Not fancy but you feel pampered anyway.
My father is 93 years old and wanted me to find a barber that would give him an "old fashioned" shave with a blade, he has gone to many different ones in New Rochelle but they all fell short. He was absolutely thrilled with the way he was treated at B&A, and the quality of this shops work.
He has been going through much difficulty in his life, and needed to feel pampered and cared for. The fine treatment at this barber- hot towels and face massage, was like "medicine" for his spirits...he couldn't say enough wonderful things about his experience at B&A. I highly recommend B&A Barber shop. Quality care is hard to come by these days, where people take true pride in what they do. This place is a jewel.
