I read all the reviews prior to checking in. My friend and I were expecting the worst. When checking in, Brandy ( the front desk and housekeeping) was very pleasant. She checked us in, suggested parking, and answered my questions politely. Room was clean, no dirty mattresses, smelled fresh, fresh toilet paper, not bad. Bathroom is a bit small, shower got lukewarm, and the bathroom was always super hot. The pool was clean, staff was friendly. I wish they would have swept every day (it is the beach.. sand.. EVERYWHERE), but that is the only complaint. My friend and I brought our own towels, blankets, and toiletries. Overall it was a decent stay!
after reading the reviews, i was nervous about staying here. However it was just my friend and i staying for one night and really just needed a place to sleep. honestly, it was fine and better than i expected. i brought sheets incase because some people said the bed was disgusting with stains, but the sheets were white and clean and perfectly fine. the rooms are small, very little bathroom space but it was fairly clean and worked out for our 1 night stay. we had to go to the office to ask for more towels and toilet paper, but overall, of course it’s not a 5 star hotel but i didnt really have much complaints and it was by far better than i expected and we had a good stay!
Let me state this first for those that only read the first line. Bring own towels blankets shampoo and mattress topper. They do not provide towels or washclothes. Not at the beginning not at all. The bedframe in my room was broken so the hard decrepit bed was at a dip in the center to make it even more uncomfortable. This isn't being dramatic it's being honest. There was a hole in the wall in my room along with several unpainted patches. No roaches or bedbugs but there are ants and the crazy cricket spider things. Don't be surprised if you wake up looking at one. Didn't even lift the blanket on the bed because I was scared to. Just went and bought one as I was stuck staying there due to booking online. The manager is rude but her boyfriend is polite. Not much good to say about the location either. Soo that's it. Book at your own risk.
A posted number on the locked office door had to be called to get the off-site mgr. She was rude and dismissive. I should have looked at the room before checking in this small, seedy, outdated room. Mildew stained the shower with a broken tile floor. The sheets were stained with black ink(?). Holes were in the screens and there was a poorly working AC. The worse thing was, there was NO seating, desk or table in the room! A metal edging in the mattress cut off the circulation in my legs! No iron, hair dryer, hangers or even access to the closet, no counter top in the bathroom or space in front of the toilet! There is a 5-car parking lot; I got a ticket for parking on the street near a broken meter! $250 for two nights. I only stayed for one but could not get a refund for the 2nd night. If it was free, I would never stay there again!
The ONLY reason I am giving 1 star is because we arrived at 10am and check in is 2, I called the number (because no one was in the office) and asked if we could go in the pool while we waited and the lady, although reluctantly said, said it was ok. Up until check in, we walked into a disgrace!! The room was disgustingly dirty, and the door knob was broken, we were given another room which was NO better! The shower ceiling was broken, shower was filthy, the sheets were dingy, the comforter still had sand on it, I picked up the cushions on the extremely outdated couch to find dirt and candy wrappers! There were flies in the room, and we asked for towels and were told we had to wait because she was doing laundry, after about an hour, she bought us only 2 towels and 2 washcloths We wanted to watch TV and the remote wasn't working and the office was once again closed! DO NOT waste your money on this place!! Highly dissatisfied!!
Cannot even begin to describe how disgusting, filthy and unprofessional this place is. Don’t even waste your time. We checked in and upon walking into the room there was INSTANT REGRET! Room was full of spiderwebs and dead bugs. The sheets were all stained, all dirty. When we asked for fresh clean sheets the front desk looked at us sideways…and even the sheets that were ‘freshly cleaned’ were still dirty and full of hair. Looks like the room was never cleaned. Bathroom was extremely small and had dead bugs as well as previous guests hair. I couldn’t even stay inside the room without feeling filthy. When asked to speak to a manager the front desk just handed me her phone. Ugh thank god we were able to get a refund. Do not waste your time here it is unbelievable. Ended up going to a better motel, they advised us this place was closed down for awhile and just reopened. They should just stay closed.

Large enough size pool, room big enough for one, nearness to the beach and boardwalk. pool warm, clean and somewhat deep. 3 blocks or less walk to the ocean. Family area so felt safe. Staff quick to help. Negative: Older and shows it. Frig missing front leg, wobbled, but worked. AC new but Very loud. Bed very hard pokey. Unexceptable: Toilet bowl too close to wall. Bathroom smelled of urine. Sheets needed changing. Pillows dirty and unusable. Care for your patrons
