The restaurant offered a great friendly service! The haddock and cod were the nicest and freshest we have had in a long time. As the name suggests, It is down in an arcade and may be easy to pass by if you didn't know it was there. I'm glad we found it. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Great plate of fish & chips. Had the special - Fish & Chips + bread & butter + cup of tea. Ate upstairs in the cafe - very clean & comfortable. Great service & good food. Just the right size portion for me for lunch, even a little bit much for my wife. She asked for a "doggy bag" - happily provided. Fantastic value for £5.90 each.

I went into wait for my wife to have her nails done, I went to this chip shop in Whitley Bay, not only were they chatty whilst I waited my fish to fry when I asked for a take out on a very windy NE gale they said they were happy for me to eat in after I had paid for a take out. Me being me I said thanks and sat out in a gale eating one of the loveliest pieces of cod with a wooden fork I have had. No need to have wolfed it down as she texted me to day she was an hour late. Would definitely plan another visit when nails need doing again.

Whenever I'm doing any work in/around Whitley Bay, I always try and get here for some dinner. I only ever really get a portion of chips (with a sprinkle of batter). Every time I've been the staff are super chatty and very friendly. Called in yesterday with a work colleague - as usual, absolutely spot on. Best chips in the area I would say ????

Great restaurant. Friendly staff and great food. As it was 4 years ago I had fish and chips it woke my taste buds up. Well worth a visit.

Went in on Monday with my brothers after our walk. Great 'special' of Haddock & chips with bread /butter and cup of tea. Can't fault it and the girls who work there very pleasant and helpfull. We'll be back in a few weeks time, wouldnt miss it.

We’ve been looking everywhere for deep fried Mars bars and finally, we were definitely not disappointed. We were impressed with how reasonable the prices are and how friendly the staff here are. We’ve found our new favourite fish & chip shop, thank you.

This is the worst fish and chips I have ever had, the fish was swimming in grease and the chips cold. It all went in the bin.
