I went to Aram’s today for a head shave and proper cut-throat beard trim. I have been to most gentleman’s barbers in Norwich and I must tell you how impressed I am. I wish I found this place sooner!! They went above and beyond paying great attention to my beard, brought me Turkish coffee and a Turkish delight to top it off!! Not just a fantastic service but also a great experience. And at an amazing price!! (Some of their competitors charge twice what I paid just for a shave!!). I won’t be needing to go elsewhere now I can see why they have the best reviews on google.
I found these guys online as I wanted to take my (now) elderly father to an authentic Turkish Barbers as it was something he'd not previously experienced and these were highly rated (& for good reason), for a number of reasons we turned up almost at closing time, which on the phone they'd assured me wouldn't be an issue. On arrival we were offered authentic Turkish Coffee and a Turkish Delight, both were lovely. The entire team were incredibly kind and caring and took really good care of my frail father, he ended up with an incredible haircut, had his ears, eyebrows and everything else done, hot towel treatment and Dad left looking 10 years younger and having thoroughly enjoyed the experience!!! I have taken my father another time and again the service and treatment was fantastic, really taken care of my Dad and showing real interest in the pair of us, this will be the only place I take pops going forwards. As and when I need a trim I will see them myself, but I''m out of town and have a massive beard and massive hair, so less of a requirement. Thanks a lot guys! and keep at it! x
My husband and 2 boys have been using Aram’s for several years. They are absolutely fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. They are really professional and skilled barbers, couldn’t recommend them enough. Five stars!
This is by far the best barbers I have ever been to. Tried Swagger & Jack's in the city centre, a few others in the Norwich area and NONE compare. I am not from Norwich but have worked in the city for years so tended to get my hair cut while central - I moved to NR2 and thought I would try Abrams as they are local to me and the best hair cut I have ever had. Without comparison. £14 for a haircut, comes with eyebrow shaping, face towel treatment and beard shape up (I think) all for the one price - although I didn't have time for the full works today.
Ibrahim cut my hair but everyone in the store made me feel welcome. All members of staff said hello, made conversation, and the atmosphere in the shop was unlike any I have ever seen before. While waiting I watched everyone who was there before me walk out with great haircuts, not a single person dissapointed. What I ask for isn't hard but I like it done in a specific way and Ibrahim did it perfectly.
Mehmet offered me and all other customers tea or coffee, Turkish delight and watched on as he is learning to become a barber and improve his English - he is in very safe hands and if he becomes half as good as anyone in the store he will still be twice as good as the next barber you will find.
Without doubt will only ever use this barber from now on, this has raised the bar so high for me there is no going back.
If you are looking for perfection, this is where you go. Cheaper than most barbers but service so much better than anywhere else can offer and it's not even close.
Friendly guys, great with the kids, decent hair cuts... They also like to pamper you with hot towels and coffee!

Absolutely phenomenal service! Went yesterday for the first time and definitely not the last. Everyone was friendly, polite and paid great attention to detail on the cut you actually wanted until the very end. Was offered a great Turkish delight and excellent steaming tea during the cut to enhance your experience. They provide additional small extra's such as shaping your eyebrows, cleaning your ears, mini massages and a hot towel for further relaxation. Overall, haircut was great and the service was even better so I would definitely recommend this barbershop to all.
