We were greeted by all the barbers when we walked in. There was a good vibe, and we felt welcomed. We didn't have an appointment, so we were added to the walk-in board. They went through the list pretty quickly. I had 2 boy's age 16 and 6, and I spent $45 for both. Most places have been charging $60, so I saved. My 6-year-old has a weird hairline, the barber, I think Ray was fantastic! He did an amazing job on my son's hair. We don't live on the Westside, but l plan to come back out here regularly.
I was thoroughly impressed with this barbershop. The atmosphere here is amazing. Makes it feel like you have stepped into a barbershop within the projects of Chicago with that earthy neighborhood feel with pop/soul music playing at just the right level. Although it has established itself as an African American cultured shop I felt at home. Everybody working here has that brotherhood amongst themselves and no bickering amongst them.
Would I go again... for life! Awesome establishment and a special shout out to Trez my barber, awesome man with a feel for his gift in hair cutting. Not all barbers have reached his level, hopefully they inspire to.
Every chair in the shop has a solid barber behind it The vibe is always positive and upbeat good music playing and they will have the game on as well. You will walk in looking scruff mcgruff and walk out looking like ebony man of the month. Give Another Level A Shot You Won't Be Disappointed.

Robert is my guy. Gives me a nice fade and makes me look clean every time. Straight up just tell him to do his thing. He saw the style of my hair and he did his thing. Both times I came here I’m been satisfied. I’m happy to call this place my main spot for my haircut.
Very nice shop and great people. I went in looking to get a feminine cut, as I've always gotten for the past 4 years, but got a butch cut. This was more upsetting because I specifically asked for a very soft cut and to keep my "natural" lining. Not only was all of my edges in the front cut off but my natural shape in the back was also altered/cut. The cut I received from Jay was very nice but was absolutely not what I asked for.

Great, they cut and shaved my 96yr old father with professionalism and courtesy, 10 all day long!!!
