She did an amazing job. I just transitioned from locs back to loose hair and went through the whole "Big Chop".I might have had about 1.5 inches hair to work with; Ms. Amy Gripped that hair????????.. She's pleasant and does amazing quality work.. She sets everything up for you to be comfortable throughout and when she sits down she does not stop. My waste length small braids took 6 hrs.. I highly recommend ????????????

Amy is very good at her craft. She is honest straight forward and fairly priced because her finished products speak for itself. I have never had a bad experience and has been coming to Amy for some time now since she has been in McDonough! Always a returning customer.

I’ll start off by saying she’s consistent with her prices and if you tell her exactly what you want, she’ll be honest about whether she can deliver or not and if she says she can, she CAN. BUT. The mood she is in determines your experience. I have gone to her several times but today will likely be my last time. I paid a deposit but because she was angry with another customer, she decided no one else was getting serviced and she refunded everyone their money and went home. Businesses shouldn’t be run off emotion. If I pay you for a service, a service should be rendered. That has inconvenienced me in more ways than one. She has no regard for other people’s time. On top of that, there was still someone in her chair at 3:30 and my appointment was at 3. Mmm, I don’t recommend.

Edit: I didn’t lie at all. Yes I brought my child with me to the shop, I didn’t know that was relevant information. You don’t have a no children sign posted in your shop. My son was comfortable and calm & you didn’t mention it being a problem while I was sitting in your shop. This is what I mean. Moody and unprofessional. I do sell hair and EVERY one of my customers will attest to my professionalism and the quality of every transaction they experience with me. I do right by people and that is why I remain blessed. Instead of making a scene like the one I watched you partake in, I accepted my refund & left quietly. You’re welcome.Take notes.

I been coming to Amy for many years and she’s always consistent with prices and styles . The quality of work is outstanding. My braids last well over the time needed to take down. She’s extremely honest on what she can achieve based on your hair .100% satisfaction

Rude and hung up in my face because she wanted a deposit and wanted me to cancel my styleseat appointment. Which would've charged me 100 to cancel. Please stay away from this scam artist. I'm a Christian. I never yell, was not mad was extremely nice to her.

Update: She has an explanation but there's never a reason to hang up in someone's face or be rude in customer service. There's at least 50 people that's mentioned her nasty attitude. Found a shop near Walmart and the owner is super pleasant.

1st visit to Amy-K but not the last. She has an interesting way of doing crochets. I really like her work, she's quick, I've had NO issues whatsoever with my hair and her prices are comparative to others. Nice shop.

I've been going to Amy-k for 7 years. She's the best hair braiding person I know. I drove 1 hours to get myself and my daughter hair done. Amy is a very nice person and the place is clean. You should come and check Amy-k out you won't be disappointed.
