Update to the below review. One of the nail techs, Andy, called immediately to address my issue. He was attentive, professional, and understanding when I explained the problem. He also asked for me to return to the nail shop so he can fix it. I went back in for a manicure redo the next day and he did not recharge me. See the after picture for my newly manicured nails.

Previous Review: Overpriced and something as simple as a manicure was done poorly. They charge you a full $10 just to soak off acrylic nails. Just look at the picture of my poorly done manicure. Such a simple service and all of these cuticles have not been cut!

First time going on April 23rd. I got a dip powder. I decided to try them out seeing as they just opened the week before. I had a nice guy do my nails, but I feel he was very distracted as he was working the front desk, on his phone, all while doing my nails. I paid $75 for some purple dip powdered nails with two nails having gems on them...the gems have fell off and it's only been a week and half since having then done. I get gems often and this is a first for having then just fall off so soon. Nice atmosphere and very clean, but I'll probably just stick to Venus Nail Salon..

Emily was the best! So nice! She did a great job. The place smelled good and was really clean. Only down side is this place is VERY expensive! I don’t know if I would go here again because of that. I have been to nail salons just as nice and they were way less expensive. My bill was around $115 without tip for gel nail manicure and pedicure.

Okay! Lynne is amazing!!! The entire place is amazing. Drive from Orangeburg with my boyfriend’s daughter. I had a pedicure and she got a full set done. We didn’t have an appointment but they took us right away. The place is bright, airy and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. Needless to say, we left completely satisfied with our services. I will definitely be making the trip back.

UPDATE- Kevin rocks! I initially went in to get a gel manicure and had a split nail. He suggested that the dip would be the better option for natural nail and he wasn’t wrong. My nails have grown and are longer and stronger. He’s also amazingly talented and kind. Worth the drive.

I got a manicure and pedicure, I knew what I wanted but ended up hating it because why do you cover half of the nail for a French TIP, then instead of taking off the coat of color, painted over the half nail of a tip with more white color and left with thick looking nails. Told me the old way of a French manicure was not using the powder, I wanted clear powder so I don’t have to keep pink powder when I get a fill in but clearly that went over Andy’s head. So yeah horrible job and was overpriced for an ugly job. Pedicure was alright. Won’t be coming back ✌️

I just started getting my nails done again after 3 years. My girl, Courtney, recommend AM Nail Bar too me. I had my first set done by Andy!!!!!!! I just went Monday for a fill in, cut down by MiMi!!!!! I ran into my girl Jessica who also gets her nails done here! This place is amazing and professional. I highly recommend coming here the next time you want to treat yourself to self-care.

First time. Great experience, I got a pedicure & eyebrow wax. My toes look amazing and the pedicure was done with care. I don’t know the lady name that did the pedicure but Joseph did my polish and has great attention to detail. Kim did the eyebrow wax she was very nice. I will return. Thanks guys!

Update-12/09/2022: I have been going to this salon for the past year! I cannot say enough great things about this salon. The folks that work there are hardworking and friendly. I have never felt more pampered anywhere else.

The place is immaculate and relaxed. Ly Ly is outstanding. While some salons offer stamps or other silly nail art, Ly Ly can do amazing work freehand. She is truly an artist! Yes, the red nails in the pictures are my Christmas nails. Those designs were all freehand.

If you are looking for an outstanding salon, this is it!
