I am here visiting from Florida, so needless to say, I had reservations about getting my hair cut at a new barbershop! Thankfully It was a great experience. My barber cut my hair exactly the way that I asked him to, he was very friendly, professional and most Importantly, the wait nor cut did not take long at all. I've been there twice so far and will return a third time before I fly back home. Thx for the great experience! Keep up the good work.
Great skill, great shop, great hair cut. just horrible waiting times. Between one barber that takes phone calls, eats while in the middle of your cut and constantly stopping to watch the tv, a 30 minute cut turns into 1.5 hour cut plus a 2 hour wait. I want to return and support but these things need improvement. Overall, a good shop. Just pack your patience, a book, maybe a butt cushion.
Every haircut that I have received here has exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. I know that whenever I come to All-Star Kutz I’ll be leaving with a high quality haircut I can be proud of. I'm here in Philly working from Chicago for about a month, so I had to get a cut being here so long. I looked at a bunch of barbershops on the web in the area and All-Star Kutz stood out the most from their many positive reviews. I got there and still was a bit nervous about some new guy I didn't know cutting my hair, but he did a great job even fixing my line that I messed up trying to hook myself up the week prior. Thank you Chi loved the hair cut and will be back when I am in Philly. Good luck to the expansion on the shop. Most def will come and check you at new spot when I'm back. God Bless.
My 4-year old is terrified of getting a haircut and the owner showed a lot of patience and care that we appreciated. He was as precise as you can be with a screaming and moving toddler. There aren't too many real barbers who can handle kids and actually do a good job. My only feedback is that we paid extra to make an appointment so we didn't have to wait long with a restless child but still ended up waiting over a half hour. At any rate, I do highly recommend the place.
Really great barbershop, HOWEVER be prepared to spend ur entire day there. Went with my husband, he was the 5th one in line, we were there for about 4+hrs. it's only 1 barber. Chy is extremely good and if your willing to wait, he's worth it.
I'm from Detroit and I needed a haircut. I found this shop on google. The barber (whose name I can't remember) took real good care of me. The men and I all had a real good conversation. The barber was real professional, the place was spotless, and my cut was done in no time. Anytime I come into the Philly area I'll always head over to his spot.
