If you're a visitor to Jarrow town centre this is the go to bar. The decor inside is very good and the natives are a friendly bunch. A good place to go to.

Good choice of ale and the beer was in excellent condition. Nice tiled exterior and plenty outdoor seating. Unfortunately it was all covered in the shade so I sat on a near by wall in the sun. Good pub good ale.

Great selection of spirits and more specifically gin, each gin seems to be put together perfectly with the right mixer and fruit to compliment the gin.
Great smoking area especially if it's raining, old classroom table in the corner sets it
Great little pub with great outside seating and friendly atmosphere and staff. Most importantly very reasonable prices :).
Fairly quiet when we arrived, staff seemed friendly enough and cosy old style decor but it felt a bit grim and dark. Nice selection of drinks.
