Had lovely meal a few weeks ago. Friendly staff, food excellent. Just a few niggles, there was a very squeaky door opening and closing all evening which was very annoying, the menus were tatty and sticky and the window areas need a good clean (Mold and spiders!). Having said that we’d still return.

RISK TO HEALTH IF YOU HAVE ALERGIES. Good food NORMALLY Via JUST EAT. Chef had labelled up the lids but put them on the wrong meals. 1 very hot meal, 1 medium sweet as per usual with one portion of rice (to share) and 1 Naan. My wife has the Naan and a very small amount of my rice. When we realised we had each others meals, we swapped but my wife said she couldn't taste hers because of the spice/heat of my meal after eating my meal. Also I had very little rice after swapping. Rang the restaurant for a refund who just referred me back to Just Eat for a refund. I asked to speak with the restaurant owner but they said that the owner was not working that evening and it was the chef in the kitchen who referred me to back to Just Eat. They did however offer an arrangement that if we booked direct with the restaurant on our next order, that we would receive some kind of discount. I declined this offer and said I would eventually speak with the owner to ensure that they are aware of the issues and that I would be pursuing a refund via Just Eat. Shame, never had any problems in the past with Akash and we have had lots of deliveries from them and dined in the restaurant many times.

Really spoilt our night in and I didn't eat in the end.

Been going here a while now for takeaway collection. Never great, but there's not many options in Beverley and the food is quite good. Last night was an absolute nightmare. Ordered at 5.30pm to collect 45 minutes later. So we think they must be busy? We get there on time and was asked to wait. There's 3 tables eating so hardly busy. 15 minutes later still waiting and after she checked in the kitchen said it's nearly ready and it will be 2 minutes, (this turns out to be a lie). Meanwhile another couple walk in and then walk out after being ignored for 10 minutes. A further 10 minutes later the other woman comes out of the kitchen, what was the name she asks? I tell her and she puts her head in her hands and it's obvious they haven't done it. Sorry she says. No offer to sort something out. They could have cooked us another meal in the time we sat waiting. So I ask for my money back and we try and find something else at 7pm on a Saturday. Bloody no chance. I wouldn't mind, but they wasn't even busy. The restaurant is freezing, seat covers look like they are about 20 years old. I'm amazed they are still in business. I don't know who has given them good reviews, but on my previous experiences I find it hard to belive these are genuine. They have now lost 2 regular customers. Sorry, we won't be back.

Friendly staff. My food was ok but my partners was poor . Didn't receive the 2 dishes that were supposed to come with the main course, we had to ask abd then the chicken wasn't cooked

Had a very nice meal, the standard of food was very good, but moreover the service was good, polite and very friendly, especially the young lady who served us. Thank you for a great meal.

What a disaster - my husband booked a table for 10 people for a birthday celebration tonight with his friends. Arrived for booking at 8pm, ontime - table wasn’t ready so offered to go for a drink and return. Upon return half an hour later, the table was still not available! No option but to leave - completely spoilt a birthday celebration evening which resulted in eating a takeaway kebab. We’ve been many times before but will not be returning - such a shame

Food was average, no flavour at all in the butter chicken, however, the service was terrible. Only two staff (we could see) for a Saturday evening. No check back to see if food was ok, we had to ask for drinks. A real shame as the young girl there was lovely. Not sure we would return unless the service/reviews improve.

Excellent quality service and price went with a party of 12 people and everyone enjoyed the food will definitely go again.
