I am the owner of A Bite To Eat Mobile Catering and these are a few of the items we serve.
Hot and cold drinks are available, along with a wide menu choice.
Set by the river it is a prime position to spend a couple of hours watching the wildlife and river users in their canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.
There is also a resident seal that pops up to say hello!
A great experience visiting A Bite To Eat.

Absolutely amazing. Great food, great prices, great people and a beautiful place full of wildlife (birds, ducks, geese, swans, cormorants, seagulls etc and the occasional seal at high tide).
A fine black headed gull on the bank of Newton Abbot Quay where the River Lemon meets the River Teign. The water here is not clean but there's a good 1.5 mile walk from Newton Abbot Quay over the pedestrian bridge and through Hackney Marshes. If you walk over the pedestrian bridge you may be lucky to see a shoal of fish winding up the river.
So far I've tried the chicken burger and I have also tried the meatballs in salsa sauce in a baguette and omg it tastes amazing with the cheese melted in with them ❤️ I highly recommend popping here and trying either a chicken burger or a meatball in salsa baguette please pop by and say hello to these amazing people
A lovely friendly place to stop for a drink and a cake or maybe a breakfast or more if you are hungry. Prices are very reasonable. Just reopened with new owners who will make you very welcome. Lovely views over the River Teign with swans and ducks to keep you company. Easy access for the disabled and plenty of seating for dining al fresco. One of Newton Abbot's little hidden gems.
Just in the right place at the right time. Always cheerful staff who deliver a lovely selection of teas, coffees and rolls. Excellent place. Nice and quiet / peaceful.
Lovely quiet place to while away half an hour - grab a coffee at the coffee bar- sit and watch the wildlife and trains while the world goes by
Really loved our Sunday visit here. I came with a friend and my 1 year old. My daughter loved the ducks, pigeons, trains and the dog swimming nearby, plenty to keep littles eyes occupied. I ordered just a portion of chips and a coffee, the coffee was obviously delicious (because what coffee isn't!) But the chips were so good! The portions were absolutely enormous, and food yummy. The lady who served us was polite and really friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
