Great services. I've gone twice now, both times I was there a full 2 hours for a pedicure. Waiting is a Thing. Just come prepared for that, and all should be good
This nail salon is the best. The owner Lynn is professional, caring, helpful, and runs and works hard to do a great job...and have employees that do too. Sarah and Rose are fantastic. They gave my teenage granddaughters beautiful acrylic nails, which made all of us every happy. The salon is immaculate, which made us feel safe and comfortable. We were immediately made to feel welcome and look forward to going back. We highly recommend this wonderful nail salon, which offers many choices in manicures and pedicures.
I have been coming to this location and love them all. Lynn started doing my nails and now I go to Sarah and Rose does my pedicures. My whole family has frequent this establishment and have only nice things to say. Definitely recommend 42nd at Nail Salon
Lynn is so nasty and unprofessional now. Her workers are visibly shaken by her tyrannical ways. I will never visit this establishment again. I remember when the shop first opened she has such a bright and sunny disposition she was warm and welcoming now she reminds me of the store owners that's have the "hurry up and buy" mentality. I'll take my money elsewhere. There is NO excuse for her acting the way she does now.
A few times I was told I couldn't get an appointment. One of the times, was my birthday weekend! I called at 4:00 pm. (They close at 6 or 7)..was told yes at first. Five minutes later, I received a call and told I could not be serviced. I have seen people walk in all the time ..late around 5:30 pm which is very close to closing time ..and get service.Lastly, Lyn the owner is moody and can be nasty with her attitude. It's because of her that I stopped going there. I took my money and business elsewhere and LOVE my new place. They do fabulous work and a lot cheaper than 42 Street's overly inflated prices. ????????
I had my nails done for 35 years so I know alot about nails, the first week after having acrylic nails done, and not very long nails 2 of them broke off.. I'm not i.pressed at all... that is a sign of cheap or outdated acrylic
I been here about 6 times ONLY because it’s close to my house and I don’t like to travel far for nails. My last day here was ridiculous. All my acrylic nails was shaped going to the left and right. None of my nails were up to part with the shaping. I explained that to the lady she gets upset and sends another lady that gets upset. So long story short they keep trying to fix the problem and shaved my nails all the way down when they were long. I told them this will be my last day coming here. The MANAGER then told me to get out. So I left with my hands LEFT unpainted and done. Very unprofessional!!!!!
