Quick Facts About 10th Street Barbershop

Strengths:
1. Quick service: The first comment mentioned that the barbershop got the customer in pretty quickly as they accept walk-ins. This indicates that they have efficient service and prioritize their customers' time.
2. Family-run business: The comment also states that the barbershop is a family-run business. This can be seen as a strength as it creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.
3. Skilled barber: The customer mentioned that their barber, Landon, did an excellent job. This indicates that the barbers at 10th Street Barbershop have good hair-cutting skills, which is an important factor for a successful barbershop.
4. Reasonable prices: The first comment also mentioned that the prices at 10th Street Barbershop were solid compared to other places. This can be seen as a strength as affordable prices attract customers and keep them satisfied.
Weaknesses:
1. Inconsistent experiences: The second comment states that the experience can vary, as the customer has been coming here for ten years and has had great experiences but did not have a good experience on their most recent visit. Inconsistency in service can be seen as a weakness as it may lead to customer dissatisfaction and loss of trust.
2. Unprofessional behavior: The third comment mentions that the customer had a terrible experience and felt unwelcomed due to dismissive behavior from the staff. Unprofessional behavior is a significant weakness as it can drive customers away and damage the reputation of the barbershop.
3. Uneven haircut: The fourth comment mentions that the customer's haircut was uneven and they were disappointed. Inconsistent quality of haircuts is a weakness as it reflects poorly on the skills of the barbers and may lead to negative reviews and loss of customers.
4. Mediocre cutting skills: The fifth comment states that the barbers at 10th Street Barbershop have mediocre cutting skills compared to traditional barbers. This can be seen as a weakness as customers seeking a specific style or technique may be disappointed with the results.
5. Booking system issues: The sixth comment highlights the impracticality of the sign-up sheet system and the confusion it causes for customers. A disorganized or inefficient booking system can be seen as a weakness as it leads to inconvenience and frustration for customers.
6. Lack of customer service: The seventh comment mentions a lack of customer service and loud talking/gossiping within the barbershop. Poor customer service is a weakness as it creates a negative experience for customers and may lead to their dissatisfaction and decision to go elsewhere.
7. Lack of communication: The eighth comment states that the customer tried to call ahead but received no answer. This lack of communication can be seen as a weakness as it creates uncertainty for customers and may discourage them from visiting the barbershop.
Overall, while 10th Street Barbershop has strengths such as quick service, a family-run atmosphere, and skilled barbers, it also has weaknesses such as inconsistent experiences, unprofessional behavior, and issues with the haircut quality, booking system, customer service, and communication. These weaknesses may impact customer satisfaction and the reputation of the barbershop.

Fantastic experience, I'm new to the area and was a bit nervous trying somewhere new but they got me in pretty quickly as it's walk ins. Family run business, my barber was Landon and did an excellent job. The prices were solid too, compared to everywhere else I'm very happy.
So here's what you get when you visit --- authenticity...and...an incredible haircut and neck shaved...and if you are sooo luck to be there on a day when the resident models are working...Paige or Barb...you will find a small of gold for a few minutes...Both are exceptional...both are absolutely gorgeous (taken)...and when you get up to leave, an exceptional cut!! I've come here for ten+ years...never had anything but a great time visiting with folks who treat you like family!!
This unfortunately will be the last time I go here. I've lived here for 8 years and come here every other month or so for a haircut and normally have an OK experience but had the absolute worst experience this time and feel extremely unwelcomed there. Waited for a phone call for well over an hour for a haircut and then when I walked back in I was pretty much dismissed when I asked why I clearly got skipped. They made the entire situation extremely uncomfortable for me and did nothing to excuse themselves. Even if I wanted to go back there, I feel like they don't want my business. Back to 5th street barber for me.
Younger guy cut way too much hair off than I wanted. Looks super uneven and now I need to go else where to get it evened out. Pretty disappointed
Let me start with this is NOT a true barber shop. I’ve been getting my hair cut by a barber for the last 5 years and have witnessed many times how barbers cut. These are beautician’s working in a barber shop who have mediocre cutting skills. Wanted a skin fade and wasn’t given that and there wasn’t a true fade on my sides at all. The people are friendly which was nice but when it comes down to the actual service of a barber cut I would say go elsewhere.
It shouldn’t say “Walk ins only” it should say “Walk in and then walk out and then walk back in 3 hours later only”. Because every time I go there’s one barber and a sign up sheet that’s booked for a couple hours even if you show up right when they open. It’s not practical at all. “Walk in” implies you don’t have scheduled appointments. So people show up expecting to only wait behind the people who showed up before them. Not 40 people who showed up and scheduled an appointment that is sometimes all the way into the next day. I’ve went three times before I even knew about the sign up sheet cause the single barber that’s working just said “we’re booked for today”. The point of being able to make an appointment online is so you know when the barber is available. which is especially important when you only have one barber. the point of walk ins is to not have to make an appointment or wait behind peoples appointments. but this weird impractical hybrid makes it so that there’s no way to know how long it will take unless you show up which just wastes peoples time. like it actually blows my mind someone thought it would be a good idea to make people have to drive to the barber and back home twice in order to get one haircut.
I had the same experience as Max. Waited forever. They told me 20 min, an hour later nothing despite five other people being seen who had appointments (even though they say no appointments). Zero customer service. Lots of loud talking and gossip. Defintely a place to skip, and I am a local!
Tried calling ahead of time to make sure walk ins were still being accepted, no answer. Drove all the way downtown and got there an hour before close and was turned away. Bad business.
