Great little old school pub hidden just down a little side street just down from Wednesbury town centre! It’s got a great oldy homely feel when you walk in that you don’t get with newer pubs! Decent prices for food and drinks and the staff are helpful! Also has a small beer garden when the sun is out! Would go again ????????
A nice friendly pub that has a good atmosphere, Sunday quiz night and always laughing. Can get along with anyone in there and it's always nice and tidy with no hassel.
When I was about 25 I used to drink a lot around the wednesbury area and I have been to this pub on a number of occasions. A good old fashioned pub. Serves a good selection of beers and has hot tasty home cooking. You can have a great night out with the family or friends.
Great pub with an old fashioned vibe. Some excellent, well kept ales on offer and good food the previous time we visited, but haven't eaten there since new management took over. Look forward to sampling it soon. ????
Went into tonight for the first night of food being served again and I was not disappointed!
The steak and chips were delicious! Puddings were even better!
Staff were friendly and covid rules were adhered to.
Will definatly be going back for seconds.
The weather was freezing outside and it was just as cold inside. It’s a nice enough pub under normal times but there was one radiator that was not enough. I would go again but not in the winter.
A lovely old pub with a very friendly atmosphere..
Visited today for dinner, staff where lovely. The food wasn't the best on this visit. We all left our chips we couldn't eat them. They seemed burnt and tasted sweet. Portions where smaller but price had gone up. Looking at the chips they may have been done in dirty fat or oil.. Its sad I have to put this but I feel they need to improve.. Its a lovely pub and team. Just work on food again.
