An all round great chippy. I come here often and the food is pretty much always top notch and great value for money. Staff are extremely polite and friendly and the atmosphere is always nice. Very reliable, popular with locals, can't really say anything bad about this place. Waiting times are never too long even in busy hours and the wait is always worth it. The fish is especially great!

Poor service. Got home 6 miles away to finde what we orderd was not all there ... missing bag of chips missing sausages a single burger instead of a doubble and it was over cooked . And yes we all like salt on our chips but not the whole pot awful amount of salt on the chips that we actually had . won't be going back. Standards have dropped hear !!

All in all this is a good little chippy. While the chickens not too brilliant the chips are delicious. Completely recommend for students.

Excellent fish and chips. Fish cooked while you wait. I'd visit again if it wasn't for the 150 mile drive! ????

Best fish and chips in town. I regularly come by and chat with the guys that run the place. They're all upstanding people and are a pleasure to interact with. The food is great as well and super reasonably priced. Honestly it's a great place and they deserve whatever business you're willing to kick their way.

Always great fish and chips. Can get busy, but the service is fast
