My son and I see Shawn and I am pleased every time we go. He does an exceptional job and understands hair texture. If I can't get an appointment with him on certain days, I just wait until I can. The barber shop itself is one of the best I've been to since moving to Charles county.
Not good at handling walk ins. I came in and sat for about 45 min. as other barber's were sitting in chairs, instead of checking to seeing who needs help. I left and went to another shop, and they let me know someone will be right with you, and they were. The way you treat your customers means everything
Definitely the best cut I've ever had. Sean's skills are A1. Mean fade and line up game. I drive over an hour just for the cut.
My experience as a new customer was the best I had at a barbershop. Mr. Melvin was very professional and his skills and craft as a barber are phenomenal. As I was getting my haircut I also observed the work of the other barbers and noticed that their skills were on point too.The environment in the barbershop was welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning as World Class barbers definitely earned my trust as a customer.

I took my son there for a haircut and they were great! So accommodating and patient for being so busy! The man who cut my sons hair was so great with him even though my son cried at first. I was so grateful for his patience and the staff who helped us! Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be returning!

It was my first time there, I was VERY nervous. He was sitting in the front looking lonely, and you know they say about barbers in the front,"they amateurs fresh out of barber school" ????. Well I took a chance and only the lord knows, I'm glad I did. He was very professional, quick and skilled. I will definitely be coming back and bringing my clan!

Today was our family's second visit to the shop. Mr. Melvin cut both of my son's hair, and he provided excellent service and care! Sadly, one of the barbers on staff used a good bit of profanity -- which was unfortunate, first because the shop is advertised as family-friendly, and second, because there are signs prominently displayed throughout the shop indicating that profanity is prohibited. I mentioned the matter to the manager, he took it up with the barber, and the barber then made a joke of it, asking what problem I had, and whether he was too loud. I expect that the barber is good at his craft, but his disregard for the shop's standard brought me a great deal of disappointment. Not everyone cares what they hear, or what their children hear, but our family does. Again, I chose this shop based on the advertised commitment to preserving a family-friendly atmosphere. (In addition to the profanity, one of the shows being broadcast on one of the TV screens was inappropriate for children -- a show about sex crimes.) I applaud the high standard which the shop intends to maintain, but today, they missed the mark. Nevertheless, I want to applaud the barber who works at the back of the shop, just in front of the ATM. I do not know the gentleman's name, but he has long dreads. I believe he also wears glasses. Both times I visited the shop, he reached out to help me...and today he went out of his way to open the door as I entered for our second appointment. When I went looking for a manager, he told me who to talk to and encouraged me to do so. A true gentleman. Families who wish to protect their children from profanity and inappropriate images would do well to visit the shop in advance to ensure that their standards will be upheld. Many thanks to Mr. Melvin and the others on the staff who choose to promote a wholesome atmosphere.
