Came here on a Saturday night to get a fill on acrylic nails. One nail was broken she ripped it off all of a sudden without soaking in acetone or anything-- hurt like hell! I asked for coffin shape and she started shaping but she was making them too square. I kept asking and even showed a picture. I also kept telling her they were uneven but she just kept making my nails shorter and shorter but still uneven. Gel polish all over my fingers stuck on there with UV. Color very uneven and she only did 2 coats. The menu said refills were $20 but I was charged $40. The place looked fine but actual manicure experience was a nightmare.
Terrible customer service, terrible business practices, terrible communication, quality of work was terrible tried three times each time was worse. I used to love this place and come faithfully now I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. Just terrible lazy people
This is one of the best nail salons I've ever had in Connecticut. They are friendly care and professional with their skills. Highly recommend this V L Nails Servive. I will come back again next times.
Totally messed my daughters nails up. I tried to tell him but he became frustrated and gave me attitude. They are too wide for her fingers and too thick and started lifting the next day. I do not recommend this place. My mother had her nails done here the same day and two of her nails fell off after being soaked in acetone too long. Do not go here. They are irresponsible and rude
Been to this place a couple times for simple pedicure, they act like you’re inconveniencing them. Staff overall is rude and seem like they don’t want to be there. Every time you request something they try to ignore you. Not coming back, fire the staff/owner. Customer service sucks. Last I was there saw roaches, definitely last straw for me.
My 1st experience and it was Phenomenal! Professional, on time, clean, very courteous, and I wasn't there forever after coming out of work. I received multiple compliments on my nails. My nails were nice and even, beautiful color. I appreciate them (Hanh) honestly answering all my questions. It was the best nail referral I'd receive, ever. I'm excited to return for my pedicure, and my future fill. This is huge since I'm so Picky.
I went a few weeks ago and had Kathy, who was fantastic - very engaging and did a quick, quality job. I went yesterday and had a man, who was also quick with a good outcome, but he didn't speak to me all and used his own dirty fingernail to do my cuticles!! I'm not usually squeamish, but that was so disgusting that I probably won't go back
This place is actual garbage. Smells so strong you get an instant headache and it’s SO DIRTY. went in to get basic gel polish remover and they had NO idea what they were doing. Basically ripped it off my nails. It was the most painful and long process. I should have saved the money and pulled the polish off myself, would have been the same. I’ve had this done before and it was always pain free and quick. Absolutely TERRIBLE
