Clean restaurant, very friendly and welcoming staff. Meal was absolutely fantastic ????, cannot fault it. The Fish and chips were delicious, not too much batter and just the best chips, burgers were juicy and the chicken burger was by far the best my son had eaten. Ilkske was to die for, not overly priced for what we had, very good value for money. Happy we chose to eat there. ????
We came here with 36 students to have the British experience of fish and chips. The food was excellent, service to all our students quick and everyone was happy. Thanks for a nice dinner.
Well, based on previous reviews we selected this shop over it's competitor next door, big mistake. Disappointing just doesn't do it justice. The chips were cooked on site, but definately not prepared there, awful.
As for the the skate, advertised as locally caught, caught last year maybe; what little there was of it was brown/grey in colour, thin and no taste.
My large cod was more like a fish finger, and having tasted this frozen excuse for fish I was glad it was a small portion. The buttered roll was a cheap burger bun with margarine, the pickled gerkin wouldn't have made a big Mac. The only success was the pickled onion. If I'd only paid £1 for all the food with onion it would have been too much.
Clearly reviews of this shop at 5 stars in my are not credible. This review comes from somebody who ate there this evening. Much to my regret.
Beautiful setting near the pier, fish and chips were delicious, the batter was so light and non greasy. Lovely double espresso too

Friendly, welcoming staff.
Good variety on the menu and reasonable prices. Including vegetarian options, battered Mars & Snickers, cream cheese jalapeno and the classic pickled eggs.
The chips were top notch too.
The Vita restaurant serves what must surely be the best fish and chips in Worthing, and possibly in the whole of Sussex.
My wife and l had Rock Salmon (aka Huss or Rock Eel) and chips and it was fabulous.
The chips were the best l have ever had from a chip shop and the fish was superbly cooked.
£10.55 per portion, eaten in the restaurant which was spotlessly clean with friendly and helpful staff.
The food was so good that l forgot to take photos of it!
This restaurant is a real gem, l cannot recommend it highly enough.
We been there last weekend, its the best fish n chips so far i ever had . Lovely staff lovely food . Excellent ????????
