I'm a nurse so I'm pretty hard on my hands and feet from tons of hand washing, pulling and rolling patients, and long hours on my feet. My nails always look great and they always last a very long time. I've never had a long wait, even without an appointment. ????
I went in for a pedicure and a dip. They told me to pick a color and I did out of their books and kept the book with me so I can show the man the color. Once he finished my pedicure he asked what color and I told him. He kept walking back and forth with the book like he was lost. He came back with a nail color that was not even what I wanted . I sat down and the guy who did the my dip brought another book for me to pick a color. I asked him which one matches my toes and it’s like I was talking to a ghost. They failed to tell me that there wasn’t a matching dip color to the toe color I picked. Once he started putting on the tips I mentioned that two of my fingers were crooked so he had to position the time so it looked straight which he failed. Then he proceeded to do my dip and first he did a coat of while nail polish which I thought was sheer which is normally what they first put when I go to other places. He did two coats of the white and then proceeded with the blue which he did three. I didn’t like that I saw the white. After I was done the nails looked so bad. The nails looked wide it looked like a fan. I felt like my fingers felt heavy and there was too much dip on the nails. On top of they he charged me a full set when I didn’t even get tips on all my nails. Will never go back again.
Found out about this place through a friend, and I can say I've been here a handful of times now and they have yet to let me down. Worth driving the 20 minutes because I know my nails will always look great at the end. Thank you!!
This is the only place I get my nails done in town!! They get really busy in the evenings, so the earlier, the better! They're fantastic at nails and are so kind and friendly!!
I havent been to Venus in a few years because i stopped getting my nails done but I remember always being impressed with their service. By far best pedicures around! I made the mistake of letting my daughter book us across the street for her prom nails. They were awful and didnt last long. Once they came off i was going to be done with nails again but i enjoyed having longer nails so i decided to go back to Venus. SOOO happy i did!! Chris is still amazing! Perfectly shaped nails that arent super thick. I will never go to another salon again.
Every time I come here I enjoy my pedicure and my manicure!!!! Peter always does my nails and he does great! Thanks so much for always making me feel comfortable and relaxed!!! Can’t wait to come in again :)
Absolutely love Venus nails! I get the dip powder and it lasts 3+ weeks. I always request V, but they all do a great job! The facility is clean, and everyone is super friendly! ????
The owners, Stacy and Chris do a great job and are super funny! I’ve been getting my nails done here for 2 years and now my mom goes here too… they always make you feel welcome like you’re family. By far BEST nail Salon in Yorkville ❤️❤️
