Valentino's, ein italienisches Lokal in Newport. Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend zu Gast. Ich bestellte Pizza Napoli, ( ich liebe eine gut gemachte Pizza ) und ein Rindersteak mit Pfeffersoße dazu Kartoffeln und Gemüse. Meine Pizza war eine Enttäuschung. Geschmacksneutral, fade mit langweiligen Käse der alles übertünchte. Der Pizzaboden mit einer Fertigpizza aus dem Gefrierschrank vergleichbar. Weil aber das Steak gut war, medium gebraten wie bestellt, die Beilagen appetitlich angerichtet, gebe ich noch 4 Punkte. Ein eher durchschnittliches Lokal. Zu erwähnen wäre, die Bedienung freundlich, immer nachfragend, das Lokal sauber.

This is a popular restaurant all year round. Very nice, well presented food and attentive service. I definitely recommend.

A comfortable restaurant with a family vibe, friendly atmosphere with enough space between tables for intimacy. All the staff are very friendly and attentive but allowing a relaxed pace, you never feel you've outstayed your welcome. Menu is varied with plenty of delicious sounding options. We both had steak which was cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. A perfect evening in a traditional restaurant.

Had a lovely meal in a relaxed friendly setting, staff all great and at a very reasonable price. Just don't know why I've left it so long since last going.

Great Italian restaurant, not that expensive, they let us swap items on the Christmas menu. Will go back again.

My wife & I recently celebrated our Diamond Wedding celebration with 22 guests at Valentino’s Restaurant Carisbrooke Isle of Wight. Our compliments to all the staff for a wonderful evening. The service was great, the food was absolutely delicious. The friendliness & helpfulness was beyond compare. Thank you.

Don't let the decor fool you. Yes it's a bit dated but the atmosphere is still pleasant, the staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and the food was really good.
