If you just want a haircut, beard trim or any other "service" I suggest you go to some corporate barber shop, and pray you get a little more than you paid for. If you are looking for a shop to go to to treat yourself because you work hard, and take pride in your appearance and are looking for an experience over service, then this is the place! This shop carries their own line of grooming products that are natural, organic, cruelty free and work and smell amazing! Every treatment or "experience" involves the use of their amazing products! There's actually a shampoo room where you can get your hair washed with cool lighting on the wall, and a bar where you can sample their product line, or even drink a beer while you wait! They even have a sign in the shop that says "Instant Confidence" and it's true, because I feel like a new confident man every time I leave this place!

Coming from a mother that has been a cosmetologist all of my life I can honestly say these guys are artists for the canvas of your hair. True best cut in Denver I have ever had.

Josh used his shears in such a mollifying way it was like I was under the brush of Van Gogh himself while at a spa. I then looked to my left and Sam was giving the most in depth beard trimming I had ever seen.

If there is a heaven this is the barber shop that exists inside. Thanks guy!!!!

Amazing! I started with their products from a more local barber and wanted to check them out. Not only do they have the best beard products the barbers take time and get all the little details right. Well worth the drive! I have never had a better looking beard!

I got a day off and needed a haircut same-day. True Grit happened to have an open appointment, so I figured I'd give them a try, though I was slightly reticent because of the price. I'm really glad I went.

In the three decades plus that I have been getting my haircut, I don't know that I've had a better experience. Josh was my barber and took really good care of me. It had been a few months or more since my last cut, so my hair was in rough shape. He's super chill and listened to my rambling description of what I was wanting. During the cut, he had a way of using his clippers that massaged my scalp. While the experience itself felt great, it's also the best looking haircut I've had in years. Can't recommend Josh enough.

I've been floating around looking for a good barber since my old one raised prices beyond what I was comfortable paying. I've definitely found my new place. Excited to come back. Keep up the excellent work.

This place deserves 10 stars. The space itself is inviting and unique. Staff was amazing. I walked in and asked about availability i was told they were booked for the night. But one of the barbers, Josh V, said he would cut my hair at 8:30. So I came back and got started. Josh was amazing and friendly and has to be an angel. He trimmed my hair and beard and it was by far the best haircut. He was accommodating and just super cool. Definitely worth the price. I've never had a constant barber I would visit, but I think I found one. Will be back again for sure.

True Grit was very clean, and very comfortable! I loved the location of the barbershop (inside the Edgewater Market) and loved the friendly staff. After months of searching for my “go-to” barbershop, I have definitely found it in True-Grit.

Sam was outstanding from the first minute to the last. Dare I say, the best haircut experience I have ever had. Sam made sure to get as much information from me as possible, before even picking up the clippers. The level of care he took throughout the process was astounding. Do not hesitate to book with him. You will not be disappointed!!
