Went too get a cut here recently and I must say it had too be the worst haircut I've ever received in my life. I had too go back the following day too get touched up. Once this dude was done just out of curiosity to see what he would say I said " Thanks bro I appreciate it do I owe you anything?" This dude had the audacity too say yeah just give me 5 bucks......................
Tim makes you feel at home from the minute you walk in. Great conversations, great atmosphere, interesting barbers and most importantly AMAZING HAIRCUTS!! My #1 choice in the Norfolk area. No matter your race I suggest you check them out and see for yourself.
Hello and Good Day to you all I am Jay the Manager of Tru Fade Barbershop. The owner Timmy and his Team of Barbers just wanted to Let you all know that on August 20, 2022 we will be doing a Community Appreciation Day. Starting at 12 noon. We will not open until then. Clients if you want a cut by your Barber before this date please contact them and ask for their availability. We will be giving out 50 backpacks for kids 5 to 17. We are pulling out the grill to provide lunch for our customers. 2 hotdogs, 1 Hamburger, 1 bag of chips, and 1 soda or water. We will only be doing 10 dollar regular haircuts. No speciality haircuts like fades, Mohawks, and tapers they will be too time consuming. We will close out at 6pm. We appreciate you all and thank you for using our services at Tru Fades Barbershop.
Great customer service. The Manager Jay was hilarious and nice. It was a great vibe there. Went on a Sunday and Jay told that on Sunday they changed the time from 9am to 7 pm to 9am to 5 pm. All the Barbers there was nice and respectful. They gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I will most definitely be coming back

Moving to a new area is tough. One of the hardest things to do is finding a new place to get your hair cut how you want it. After trying five different places across Norfolk, It is safe to say that I have found my go to for the remainder of my time in the area!
Gabriel always provides excellent service, conversation, and when looking for new ideas or styles, he always provides realistic thoughts and advice leaning on his years of professional barber experience. Unlike other places, Gabriel takes his time, doesn’t give in to any distractions, and makes me feel as if I am his only priority each and every time I come in! To further ice the cake, Tru Fade pricing is very competitive, if not better than surrounding shops.
Aside from him, all of the other staff are friendly and attentive! I would trust any of the barbers in the shop should Gabriel be absent. However, I recommend going during the week, as the boys are SWAMPED come the weekend…

First time here, chose this place because of the good reviews. Was greeted when I walked in. I had an appointment for 10am so I got there a little early 948am. Barber tells me to take a seat and asks what I want continues to say he cant cut me because he has a dentist appointment or something. Said the barber that was gonna cut me went to get food. Waited until 10 sitting with the cape and still no one. Im sure they give good cuts, but as a first impression I’m not coming back here.
Ask for Timmy. Good natured and great guy that knows how to cut hair. Positive experience and amazing staff. Cleanest cut I’ve had my entire life. If you’re looking for a great haircut and community, this is the place! 5/5!
