I would like to share this wonderful place. But due to the situation of the covid 19 it is closed
Good portion size cod & chips. Fish cake had my two year old’s approval. Nice family meal. Cash only = problem in 2022, particularly for a tourist who doesn’t know where nearest cash machine is. And difficult car parking in middle of narrow town centre. Good food and service from the staff though.
Nothing wow or stands out like other chip shops around the area. Food is average. There portions of chips used to be huge.now not so big. There chicken nuggets used to be fresh breast. Now reformed chicken nuggets. Its merely ok and does the job.
Friendly staff. Good quality chips and the large cod resembled a whale. Only downside is that they used to make their own large fishcakes which were a ball of fish and mash potato loveliness, but they no longer do☹️
Excellent fish chips would have given it 5 but cash only (couldn't work out the bank transfer) so had to go to find ATM
Lovely fish and chips as always. Couldn't believe how much the price has gone up. Worth it though.
Went here this evening, as the only time we go to eat in fish and chips is on holiday. Was impressed with the portion size and I was allowed to swap my cup of tea for a diet drink on the deal of the day order. It only loses a star cause there were so many mushy peas on the plate....and I don't like peas. The piece of code stretched the length of the plate and was tasty too. Was surprised to see this was only 77 out of 110 places to eat in the area. I would put it much higher on the list
