Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Horrendous service all around. The owner Tracey is the only one who does the designs because she’s supposedly the best but my acrylic nails came out super chunky, uneven, design was super rushed and in general took about 20 to 30 minutes which acrylic nails usually take at least an hour if they’re gonna come out decent. No care was taken. You also might want to avoid this place if you as a customer don’t want to be bullied. Tracey was extremely rude to my mother and myself when we’d ask anything and made us feel like absolute pests… we are very nice people lol. All I know is that we’re never going back. Worse nail salon experience ever.
I was told about this salon from one of their regulars, after I mentioned that my nails kept braking. So, I decided to finally give in and try gel, even though I hated the fact that the top of my nails would be filled.. pet peeve...lol One of the techs takes care of you but the upper filling is done by the owner. And after just 3 visits, these are my nails today.
Tracey the owner is the RUDEST person I have ever known, she has a terribly attitude with costumers. She is the only one doing designs and she doesn’t even know how to do a snow flake. What a horrible service. I don’t recommend this place at all. There are lots of great nail salons, don’t come here.
She has a bad attitude. You cant get a certain length she will mess them up because she doesn’t like long nails. She picks and chooses who she wants to do their nails nicely. If she don’t like you believe that your nails won’t come out like they do.
Loving this place so far ! First time costumer! I spent about 45 min here including the time it took to do my Gel Manicure. Which is very reasonable since there was 2 costumers ahead of me and I had no appointment just a walk-in. Tracey was awesome. She took her time doing my Gel Manicure, she even helped me look for a color to match exactly what I wanted. The only service I had done here is a Gel Manicure which costs $25. Can't wait to come back in 2 weeks????
So I had really high hopes coming all the way from Hoboken to Tracey Nails. First downside was that they didn't take credit cards. And the place wasn't as clean As I would have hope for. The first nail technician was nice but did a really basic job. By the time I was done with my toes ( I was pretty ready to go by then ) but Tracey the owner asked very nicely if I still wanted my nails done. So sat down, I wanted coffin nails with just a natural basic color. As she was doing my nails I noticed that it wasn't coming out as I wanted it. I told I wanted it coffin once again. She then asked me where I was from. I told her I was referred by girl in the mall. She then told me that I didn't look like I was from around here (which I felt was a lil rude) as I was getting done with my nail I noticed two of the nails were very discolored and need to be fixed. She lightly bumped it out ( in 2 seconds ) and then proceeded to tell me I should put on my shoes and leave. I felt so insulted, I went to put on my shoes. But guess what! My toes wasn't dry! So I had to fix it!!!! (The nail technician too busy) I will never come here again and I hope you don't as well????????????
I came to this nail salon for the first time because my sister’s friend recommended it and my nail tech is currently sick so I could not go to her and my wedding is in 3 days! I spoke to Tracey and asked if they did dip powder she said no so I said fine, do you do acrylic and she said yes, so I asked for acrylic and a pedicure. She asked what I had on my hands now which is dip powder and I said that to her and they are a blue color. Tracey then proceeds to say that you will see the blue under the acrylic because she uses a clear powder and I was like extremely confused so I asked her to explain why that would be, and she said because the powder for acrylic is clear. She planned on doing acrylic on top of my old dip powder!!! That was already a concern but I am in crunch time so I proceeded to ask “can’t you remove the dip powder” and she said “well it takes too long like an hour”. I said to her “my nail lady normally soaks me while I’m getting my pedicure” and she proceeded to say it took an hour. In reality she was too lazy to take off my dip powder. I can’t believe she basically refused a customer because it would take too long. I was even willing to pay to have it removed, but honestly I’m glad I walked out after realizing how lazy they are. Nails always take a long time, I’m used to being there for 2 hours. Find yourself a better place.
I could not believe the absolutely TERRIBLE customer service I received here, as a client who’s visited a few times. I had called the salon before hand and asked whether there was time for me to come in to do gel nails, and the owner told me as long as I’m in before 6pm, she can do them for me. Great - so I left work and got there for 5:50, and she then denied me entry. I asked her why - she said she was closed. I told her I had just spoken to her on the phone 15 minutes ago, and she told me that I was a “difficult customer” because I asked her for a colour change one of the times I visited, which NEVER HAPPENED (and even if it were to?) I couldn’t believe it. I told her she was mistaking me for someone else, and she told me she refuses to service me, and that was that. This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever witnessed and I would highly recommend you avoid it. There are tons of other great nail salons in the area where you will be treated respectfully.

Weaknesses:
1. Horrendous service and poor quality work: Multiple customers complained about the poor quality of service and the final results of their nails. This points to a lack of attention to detail and a lack of skill in providing a satisfactory experience.
2. Rude and disrespectful attitude: According to several comments, Tracey exhibited a rude and disrespectful attitude towards customers. This included making customers feel like pests, being unaccommodating, and insulting them. Such behavior creates a negative atmosphere within the salon and discourages customers from returning.
3. Selective treatment of customers: A customer claimed that Tracey picks and chooses which customers she treats nicely. This suggests that her attitude and service quality may vary depending on her personal preferences, which is unfair and unprofessional.
4. Lack of cleanliness: One customer mentioned that the salon was not as clean as they would have hoped, potentially indicating a lack of hygiene standards or cleanliness practices. This can be a major concern for customers who prioritize cleanliness and overall hygiene.
5. Inconsistent information and refusal of service: One customer stated that they called beforehand to inquire about getting gel nails done before closing time. However, upon arrival, the owner denied them entry and refused to provide the service. This inconsistency in information and refusal of service can be extremely frustrating for customers.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Tracey Nails Place has several weaknesses that outweigh its strengths. The poor service, rude attitude, inconsistent information, and lack of cleanliness make it an undesirable choice for potential customers.
